I believe you fr cause I did this. The sad part is he was the type that wouldn’t teach you to play he’d just beat you up. So when I finally learned it all myself I bodied him everytime to the point I could leave the room come back and still be whipping him
I like that this game has actually good mechanics, like if you manage to get behind someone you do more dmg. High/low mix ups. Mid Combo escapes if you either make a read on a throw attempt or explosive wave (at the potential cost of being locked out of your ult options if you had poor resources management with some characters). Dragon rushes or fully charged attacks can be blocked with timing to get a free full combo punish. Then there is power blocking which no one seemed to know about

I can say ive been playing this game since I was 8 years old (2008-09) and I’ve went up against atleast 100 people cause all the neighborhood kids had this game and only 9 of em came close to beating me and 3 actually beat me when I was relaxed on the triggers but I’ve beaten all of them atleast once to this day I still play this game (bt3 is criminally overrated) and I’m still learning new things such as these glitchy mechanics I’ve had no idea about I remember playing competitively against a few people on discord via parsec and they heavily beat my ass due to these mechanisms but I was humble enough to take these defeats in stride to becoming better at my #1 childhood game so yeah I’m not the best when it comes to these “hidden” techniques but advanced in game knowledge and techniques I’m *ONE* of the best at and I know in and out But if anyone is down to play without using these “hidden mechanisms” comment down below and we can get a game or 10 in via parsec

@@titaniumcranium3755 yeah that the AI being on "hard diffecult". 1 way around it, is to just chain some "Squares + fly kick / KI Canon" first so your around a high hit counter. Another way around it is, that you backstep your enemy into an Air-combo. It just important to keep track of your 1. Combo set (1.-4. Square) and your complimentary combo set (5.-8. Square). IMO high Diff CPU in bt3 and BT2 are some random and mostly just 'guard down'. And some ai (story lvl 3 in BT2) is also coded to always dodge(or atleast dodge like 80%) of your airstrikes/dragon homing, cause that's the most effective way of dealing dmg)

From ~ 4k+ casual hours. Also AI is still random to some points. In which she "just sometimes" dodges and else just do not... My expertise is in no means 100% funded on indepth coding and Analyse of CPU behavior via Tables But after "some" Playtime 1 gets a feeling for if or if not.its weird to explain really...
In budokai every caracther almost have their own ki blast type its little detail but so important to me, in xenoverse almost all chara have one ki blast 😥
when MAX POWER, L2+X start dash to wards enemy, hold TRIANGLE for the gut punch, keep on tapping SQUARE for rapid hits (also look at power bar, max power will drain fast), just before MAX POWER fully drains tap TRIANGLE again, it will kick away the enemy, then also press L2+TRIANGLE or any other power combo, it will throw KAMEHAMEHA or any other power beam

But that's the casual perspectiv, if you go and ask Jagger 1407 or "Just Trash" or any other monsters from this game. They sadly just happily smile over a very distant past memory of early DBT2 in 2008 xd
@@k4kayas well 50% correct m8. X activates it that's correct. For this type of movement you need to be in the so called step in barrier of your enemy (area of pressure around your opponent). The good thing about step ins is, that you have invis. Frames (tutorial in the game also tolds you that btw.) Cheers.
@@Silvermoon1k you do a full step in. X+o is the step in counter. Actually you can do many things with step one (that's why they are just limited to the step in barrier) Heavy finish step in : x+🔺does initiative a heavy step in (step in animation + leaning back +HEAVY :)) Step in throw (x+upx)

My Power Level is higher than urs.😁 On hardest difficulty My absolute best was a perfect with piccolo at lvl 160 vs U-Gohan, Vegito SSJ, Vegeta, Goku and Gogeta all at lvl 160 Despite I never win a 5 vs 5 with lvl 008 and pc lvl 160
sure its easy to predict PC moves even at hardest difficulty, which they changed in DBZ BT3 lol never stood a chance in 1vs5 over there xD and yeah im pretty sure u gonna beat me even with ur eyes closed LMAO
1vs5(5x lvl 160 or 20/20 as HP Def) lvl 8 and just perfect guard, that's the way we used to play and many still do till now. Dk and perfect no less. Zero put the bars very high for content for this game. lmao
@@k4kayas thanks for confirming that for me. I always wondered why BT3 computers were so difficult. It was hit or miss beating them 1v5. I used to fight against Great Ape Baby, Gogeta ssj4, LSSJ Broly, and 2 other strong ones. I forget my training list. Sometimes I would get beat on just the 1st one cuz every move I made was dodged or countered with the UP + SQUARE block/counter. Other times I could beat them all fairly easily. I could never manage to do that counter tho

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 es mejor que 2. tantos combos de ataque. Pero me ocupé de mis estudios, así que no pude aprender mucho.
