I actually traded a ‘23 RGST on a ‘24 CVO ST because it is what I expected the RGST to be over my SG Special. Seat and bars are much better, handles better around corners, and looks so darn good. Agree with you on the controls, have to get used to them. Always loved the 117 in my LRST and the RGST but that 121 does rock. Overall, it was worth trading for and that CVO trade value when the times comes doesn’t hurt.

Yup I appreciate what I have 2013 Road Glide and I don't feel at all like I need any of these new bikes cause I also got a 08 custom soft tail too so I got an over the road bike and in town bike and don't need to glitchy screens and too much gizmo junk but I miss my 07 Road King - I really wish I never traded that one in , boy sure do miss er

I feel the same way about my old Dyna. I really wish I hadn’t traded it in. Glad you’re happy with what you have and thank you for watching!!!

I did the same thing - took it for a demo ride - dash took a dump and it stuck in sport mode. Controls position was off for me. I was expect to be blown away compared to 23 RGST - I wasn’t. Standard Road Glide was great. Changed the bars the week after on my ST and saved $18k

Exactly!!!!!! If I did trade up, it would be for a standard Road Glide. Thanks for watching!!!!!!

No offense sir but I dont think the CVO ST was built for your type as you admit. I do respect your opinion and thanks for sharing but for us that do like to rip your getting a great package right out of the box. motor, suspension (once you tune it to your weight and riding) braking, etc I also own a 2023 ST and have poured lots of dollars into it to make it my own, which is half the fun as you know. keep up the good work putting videos out there!!!

Yep, that's what they wanted me to pay and wholesale for my bike(s). Just wasn't worth it. Pay well above retail for the new, but mine aren't worth nearly as much now. Again, it made me appreciate what I have. And with the upgrades I've done, mine sound, feel, and ride much better anyways!

I’ve been riding HD’s for 35 years i’ve owned several CVO‘s most recently I traded in my 2020 road glide CVO for the 24 CVOST sir the 24 CVOST IMHO is the holy Grail for the 24 model year You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think just the lighter weight makes a difference because 100% unequivocally it does this bike liens itself out around the corners like no other Harley I ever ridden in 35 years! I can go on and on on how much better it Handles then previous models. That’s just the facts. (I think previous generations are beautiful bikes. I’m not knocking anyone) Cons it’s way Overpriced. No CVO cover. No power bag locks. The lettering BREMBO on the front calipers should’ve been powder coated red.

Yes, it is light weight and handles extremely well. I did mention that. It’s an amazing motorcycle for sure. I guess my expectations were too high. Thank you for watching!!!

I have not had the chance to ride one yet...I did sit on it and noticed the low seat height and the very small floor boards. Ride safe and enjoy.

$53K + at San Diego Harley, sat on one Thursday, right off the bat the "mini apes" were a turn off but salesman assured me I just needed a riser and then cock the bars down where I like them on my '09 Ultra Classic. He advised me that, "You will of course need new pipes." That made no sense to me because at idle on the showroom floor it sounded okay and quiet which is probably best for me now that I am starting to get nagged daily by my wife that I need hearing aids. I'm 76, of course I need hearing aids, sheesh. Plus the fact that I like to listen to Sat Radio music via my helmet Bluetooth speakers and don't need distracting loud pipes. Anyway, $53K plus tax, license, new bars, backrest, etc. is just nuts to me. $30+ K for the non-CVO makes a little more sense to me but then I usually end up realizing I have been very happy with my 15 year old Ultra even though it recently started leaking oil like the Exxon Valdez via the main shaft seal. Salesman said they are giving 100% JD Powers value plus 25% on trade-ins. Powers values used bikes/cars? Anyway, enjoyed your comments.

I rode the same bike later that same day! Love it, but as you said, it really did make me appreciate my existing bikes. Hard part for me too is I'm taller, so need extended seats to move me back. So no real third party seats and accessories yet either. I like the Specials with the extended bags. I like alot of the items on the previous years. In one of my baggers, I have a Wood 22XE CAM in mine and to be honest, not a big difference in power from the 24 CVO ST if at all over mine. I have others with the SE-447 Torque CAM. The new ST have more power than those, but nowhere near the sound. I love the 23's just as much for now. You know me, that opinion can change as I do tend to trade in and out bikes from time to time, but have several bikes and love my existing bikes even more after riding the 24 CVO ST.

My mind may change eventually, but for now I’m happy. I’m considering a cam in the future.

@@bobrose3298 I'm with you for now. You know me, I do trade in and out of bikes. But with my upgrades on my existing bikes, hard to justify. And typically they are asking well above retail and the current bikes if you trade them in are now worth much less. And my existing bikes have just as good of performance, to me, they still look better, ride better now with upgraded suspension, and sound great. So really not ready to jump to the 24' CVO ST's. I appreciated what I have more after riding the demo.

Your bike is good enough and you can always do a cam to get more power. Get a legends suspension or an equivalent and the only true change is the infotainment. If you don’t care for that, that’s it.
