No one seems to notice that when the time is reversed, Echo doesn't move back in time. He is animated watching it all go back and moving around.
I swear it took me weeks and a lore read to understand and he was like *2 seconds into the clip* 'figured it!'

The second Echo rap and animation goes SO HARD I SWEAR. They’re INSANE FOR THAT.

also if you listen closely, that part have a slower/different tempo. its hard to pull off

The best thing about that part, is the fact that Ekko is the clone that is 4 seconds in the past. That is why the beat is transformed and placed in reverse and the lyrics always speak of going backwards and obviously when the rap ends the whole song returns to the last chorus which is the same animation as the first. It's a great detail using the champion's skill
I don't even like rap and i loved it. This type of sound combined with this animation it's just perfect.

Its the plan of Riot to make a "multilingual" music as just like kpop.
In my opinion, Giants has the most creative scenes out of three big music videos from Riot. I love this abstract background for Ekko, big fan behind Yasuo, etc. For me Giants is combination of good things about Popstars (abstraction and creativity with scenes) and More (camera movement).

echo’s ult allows him to turn back time, hence the rewind. i love the way they put their abilities somewhere in the mvs
Ekko's rap during the latter half has the music reversed and the end of the rap shows the whole video being rewound, since that's Ekko's ultimate ability: reversing time.
That group had collab with Louis Vuitton, you can actually see Qiyana in her LV skin later in the video

Fun Fact for ya! During the rewound part before the final chorus, they actually added in Ekko's ghost throughout the video, watching and interacting with several different key moments. If you frame by frame it, you can catch the detail, but at full speed, it's almost too hard to see as anything more than a purple streak across the screen. There's... I wanna say something like a dozen illustrations in that rewind that a majority of people just wont see. The detail in this video is amazing, and I'm so happy you checked it out!
I realized this about 2hours ago and I've been seeing if anyone else realized this, it's so freaking amazing the way they did it so effortlessly and he's pretty much going back in time tracing his own steps kinda until he goes back to the beginning of the song, it's so amazing and tbh I don't think I've ever seen any music video/animation topping that second ekko part

They did a live performance of this at the 2019 (it think) world finals, using the live performers and a bunch of holographic effects that make it look like they and the characters are teleporting around just like in the video. It's pretty rad, you should check it out!

Ekko can manipulate time so at his second verse they slowed the the bpm/tempo of the whole track. Then at the final chorus they put it back to the original bpm. That was really cool

Also, let's talk more about the last rap of Ekko: The shapes are always according to beat. Is the beat slower & "longer" / stretched out, the shapes are creating long streaks, lines and are moving slower. Is the beat cut off and more "flashy" the shapes only pop up and immediately disappear. :D
Fun fact during the bridge Ekko is going back through time. The twangy noises you hear are actually the same beat from his first verse slowed down and reversed... they did that but won't nerf Goredrinker.

I don't like the song as much (it's still good though) but the animation and editing is on another level compared to K/DA (and that's bloody good too, so that says something).

Professionals, whether it be a music producer, video editor or animator, that react in videos like these really gives you a sense of appreciation on the tiniest and subtle details that Riot made. They managed to pluck out these small things and explained their depth and how they mix so beautifuly well in the video as a whole, I never noticed them in the video up until these reactors pointed it out.
