This man flew from Denver to NC, got a rental car, and probably a hotel just to film the Mr.Beast trains. Talk about commitment.

Only the liveries while the actual locomotive that GTA V base on is a GP40 not a GP9
I think that might’ve been the point, I also believe these units were former UP high hoods.
EMD built more than 4000 units of these GP9, even though 711 & 777. atleast there's still plenty of GP9 out there, display, still in service, or even just rusted away
Awesome Video! Really cool to see that before demolition and proof it exists. In His video the graphics of the crashes look so unrealistic but this is awesome!

The units were not painted in Mr Beast colors, they were painted in the colors of the locomotive from GTA V
mr beast should actually use his trains to transport his feastables

I visited the GSMRR a while back and spoke with one of the crew members, only one of the locomotives was "Operational" (Only the parts needed to get it moving where left on it) and afterwards the 567 engine was ripped out and put into storage, the money from Mr beast went to restoring a steam locomotive. These locomotives had little value either preservation or money wise. I really wish people would stop over-hyping this

@@hamiltonsullivan6563 Both locomotives weren't even needed by GSMRR anymore, they have more then enough motive power to handle the freight and tourism trains on the mine, the money went to a good cause, calm down, go take a cold shower

@dancer. Those purple lights are caused by a manufacturer defect for those lamps, if people dont care or like them they just don't say anything and they don't get replaced.
this give me vibes that beast is hiding something, behind all these videos he buys up old trains and hires teams of people to transport them into the forest...

I now understand; this is not the original posting. As a kid, I was the only one who would not throw rocks at windows of abandoned buildings. This was the only posting of Dancer's that I refused to "like"!!!! However, I must give our dear adventurer the benefit of doubt as to why he documented this particular railroading adventure. Sorry, I can never accept "silly" STUNTS for an audience!!! Yet, thank you Dancer for documenting a "love of rails" & it's equipment"!!! You made the effort to "see for yourself" a STUNT of a fellow you tuber! Not pleased, but completely accept your postings & efforts. He bought the locomotives that we’re gonna be scrapped anyway.
@dancer2 Yeah a lot of people were unhappy about it. Doesn't make that much sense since these locomotives were mass produced. There's plenty more out in the wild switching out your local grain elevator. People get worked up over something that was being written off as scrap lol
EPA is who you should be mad at.
The Bureau is making all railroads under the FRA control adhere to tier 4 diesel standards which causes older classic locomotives in revenue service to be deemed non-compliant, which then means they will most likely be scrapped as in - "cash-for-clunkers locomotive edition".
Sad.

Duke Energy in North Carolina purchased thousands of faulty LED night lights and installed them all over the place. Duke didn't know they were faulty when they bought them, but they quickly go from bright white to the blueish purple color you see here. They are replacing them but its going to take a while.
