- On this beautiful Ohio day we resume the fun in part five from this trail ride. Alexis keeps pushing through and gaining more confidence with every turn of the throttle.
This was Boomhower's initiation into the Enduro world so we made sure to give him a good ride, already worn out he decides to follow Alexis up a steep hillclimb when she bails close to the top..
The rest is history😂

Muy guapo el vídeo
Watching you ride the 250L like watching Mick ride his Africa Twin. You’ll have to look him up. You two are a lot alike. People say the CRF and Africa Twin can’t do serious off road and you two prove them wrong.
OhioGuy82 mick is a beast
Please tell me this series isn't over! Great riding Alexis!
Go Alexis ! Well done ! Tilly’s laugh gets me every time I honestly think I would recognise that laugh anywhere 😂😆
Amazing riding well done Alexa👍
Your videos keep making me want to buy a crf250l 😂
Dirt Road What If’s Yeah but I would take the X instead.
I wanna come riding with you guys so bad. I'm middle aged and only have 1 riding buddy left that still rides. And I think I'm only a few hours from you. Need a new place to ride. That place looks fun.
Those trails are looking great! As the series continues you can see Alexis really starting to get better and more comfortable on the bike
Good job Alexis, it easy to see you're improving. Keep at it!
Alexis needs to click up a gear and let the 150R eat
Great video. Almost makes me want to take up trail riding again but at my age I don't need to
I love how you and her are both active in this video showing helmet cams from both bikes. All though I think she should get her own channel too. I bet she would overtake you in followers. For some reason girls that ride on CZcams gain followers very quick. I think Bc beginners and other women like a girl explaining stuff riding etc more so then a man. LOL either way I love the double take on both helmets. Your a edit god
Great job lexis 👍... definitely improved over the 230l riding although ya did have shit tires ...but the 150 is great for you.. with the 230 is was like you was trying to walk before crawling and now your crawling with the 150 great job
Oll Tilly always gets a smile out of me. #straightmanlove 😂.
That was really fun looking! One of y’all’s best in this Series of the day. Great job all you guys! 👍
carnage hill. hahah another ripper video thanks boss 🤙🤙👋🙏
Man the 250 sounds good
Good stuff man...
Alexa is doing great 👍
You all are having a hell of a lot fun! I'd stick to the dry parts though. Keep it up.
I like Crossthread for some odd reason.
Thanks shes clean I wanna go all red plastics soon
Enjoying the new footage all the best from Glasgow Scotland
Really enjoying the videos
hello Tanner and A.D family love the channel, and all that you guys and gals do, i am in Michigan and am looking for a 250L or maybe something a little bigger, have not had much luck looking around here for something used, then i remembered in one of your vids you mentioned about how many hondas you have sold or helped sell for honda so i would figure i would reach out to you for some help getting into the dual sport world. any help would be much appreciated. thanks Tom
Fun video. It’s good to see everyone doing well and having fun
Looks like so much fun guys realy enjoy it !
Hey Tanner, those are some nice bikes and I wish I could go riding with you guys 😂😂 Also really good job Alexis, you improved a lot faster than I did when I first started riding. 🤙🏻
Since we have been in lockdown I’ve been looking at you past videos, love to ones about the one wheeler’s. Lexis (all 4 foot 12), this video, standing whilst riding, go practice on the land around the shop :-) Jon (Bath, UK)
those were some pretty dope trails i wish i had trails like that and just send it
I can't wait for more videos on this trip!
Looks fun, but "don't follow Alexis" lol
Been watching riding video's like it's going out of style \m/
Guess who causes it....
Is djs bike a rm125 or a rm250?
I would have loved to been there for that ride got 2 stokes out in the woods 250’s and a razor that’s so sick !!!
You need an exhaust for the 150r
Should I buy a Crf250l? Is t a good idea?
John Campsall i just bought one. I love it. Def a little heavy but completely doable!!!
Thanks I’m not sure what bike to get next
do you plan on dualsporting it? if its just for trails and you dont need to go on the road with it maybe check out the klx300r. more power and not as heavy as the honda. its about an inch or two taller at the seat though. its strictly off road though
John Campsall crf 250 x?
Crf 250r ktm 300exc husq 300 Sheri gas gas etc all good trail bikes very light and flickable and weigh 100lbs less then the dual sports
What's mods do you have done to your 250L?
BROTHER i had the EXACT same issue, clean or buy a new air filter, throw in some new spark plugs and make sure u gap them correctly! and the final step or you can just jump to this and try this first as a faster method, but always gotta stay on top of maintenance even the little stupid things we all forget like making sure all the spokes are torqued to spec, suspension collar is tightened down, adjusting for correct preload and all the others...
But anyways you can just do this step if u haven't fixed it yet, but with the muddy and/or very sandy borderline dusty conditions, I can almost guarantee that the issue is stemming from a little grain of sand stuck most likely in the pilot jet on the carby!! check that out and let me know if it helped!!
I ran into this issue many many times at the sandpit where I ride and its cheap insurance to clean the carby often, don't need a new gasket unless its torn, but get a cheap set of different sized micro rods they make a nice folding kit that has all different sizes so u can clean any sized pilot and main jets... but that is why it's cutting out but still can start up but then starts to idle rough and die again, just needs a carb cleaning, and when u install the float make sure it cycles correctly and isn't bound up I ran into that issue from a dirty and borderline sticky carb the float got stuck and bike instantly wouldn't run
Lemme know if any of those methods work out for ya!! and also wanted to let u know I can easily hear ur girl say wow this bike is tall, and see the struggle while riding... it would be a great thing to do bonding and also to teach her a bit about her own machine, and take the time to set the sag and preload dampening and rebound, but most importantly the sag so when she sits on the bike she can touch the ground... it is soo much easier on the body and would help her ride harder with such ease she would be thanking you over and over...
All u gotta do is loosen that locking collar and take some pressure off the rear spring to drop her down so she can touch, and make sure to remember to adjust the front forks and slide them up a bit to also lower the front so it matches the height on the rear...
Ahe will love you and be super thankful that u took the time to not only teach her how to work on her own bike, but also a somewhat confusing subject that comes with customizing and adjusting the sag and dampening speed, amt of preload, dropping down the forks all that stuff that she will remember for the rest of her life! and making it more fun for her to ride that comes with more skill she will progress much faster with the bike tailored to her size and height, and also teaching her those important things and how to work on the bike proper, clean it correctly, just not too cheap out and end up ruining the bike!! teach her a bit about those other troubleshooting methods for when her bike isn't running perfectly in the future!!
always gotta remember a smart man once said, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER... stay safe and healthy and continue to make awesome content we LOVE IT!! I get to live vicariously thru u even tho I'm quarantined in my apartment alone with my bipolar chihuahua
Where is your crf 450l?
What tires do you run?
I wish i lived closer I would love to ride with you guys 👍 .
Hope he good
WTG Lexie, you go girl!!!!!
God does that bring back memories.. And I still hate mud...
what gas do you all run in your 250? in kentucky we only have 87, 89, 91
Run 91 thats the lowest octane level my 450 likes im also in ky
The higher the octane the better in most cases buy some VP racing fuel additive too it'll help
No need for 91 on a 250l, it's not a race bike. 87 works fine for most low power dual sports. Plus, fuel injection isn't as picky as carburetion.
@@bobdobalina779 my fuel injected 450 hates anything lower then 91 but all ive rode is race bikes so I guess my opinions kinda irrelavant on this topic
@@jag2474 That could be the case, the 450l has a lot more power. I guess I'm too used to slow bikes, haha
yo ur girl starts like a scared shitless fear laugh going on she has got me cracking up laughing!!!! such good content!! i needed a laugh for the day!! thanks bud,
-p3t3r
Ya shouldn't of up shifted on the 150 hill climb
Maybe I missed the video or something, but what happened to the Honda 450L? Never saw anything else after you got it.
he sold it and never made a video on it
Bokeh why?
He wants an actual trail bike so I think he might be going 450rx
You gotta pick your bike up faster guys 🤦♂️
Where do you ride at? Im about an hour and a half north of Columbus. All of the places I typically ride are closed due to the Coronavirus. Id love to get back on some trails!
Hope you guys are ok
What is the point of a tip sensor
so if the bike tips itll know
Alexis I meant
Don’t use me as a warm body for the comment section there bud but my father always dropped this on me, 1st gear is your power gear in climbing.
have me and my friends come and ride bikes with you guys! we will show all you guys up!!
If only bikes had back brakes...
Yeah but that means stopping paddling with one foot. Catch-22. I had real problems in that kind of situation back in .. uh .. the late 70s. Pro-tip: if you're running out of steam up a steep hill, tip the bike slightly to the left side as you come to a stop, only put your left foot down, and stay on both brakes. And if you don't have electric start then don't stall it otherwise you've got three jobs for your right foot!
@@BruceHoult Yeah good advice.
Alexas doesn’t know how to shift
Or get speed before the hill Or anything else
She's learning and that's all that matters
I guess not 🤷🏼♀️
@@Straubberry your getting alot better keep it up! Dont let these guys that have only rode there dads bicycle tell you what you cant do
