  • How to sew a bike stem bag version 2. This one features many slots around the bag's body. It can be attached to many styles of bicycle stems and handlebars. Round cylinder shape with a cool drawstring closure, much like those on chalk bags that rock climbers use.
The pdf file is on saltymom.net/2021/04/18/diy-b... . You can use that as reference when sewing the bag. It's not free but, of course, you can still make the bag by watching this tutorial and taking notes :)

Hi. I just purchased your pattern and look forward to making these to hold bear spray for our bikes. What size eyelet did you use? There are many sizes available out there! Thank you.

Thanks for the purchase Kristiann ! The eyelets size is 3/16" or a size that is smaller than the drinking straw will do.

@@SaltyDIY A roll top bag, if you look up ILE Porteur Rackbag, I'm trying to do something similar to that

@@gabrieldonovan794 Sorry for the late reply ! I would sew all the straps and flap on before sewing up the sides. The pattern will look like a boxed bottom bag, quite long to incorporate the fold. For the bag's bottom, you can add a bottom insert.
