I'd hardly call this underrated. This is actually pretty popular too, and tons of people have this OP as the one to represent FMA in their heads. It's just that FMAB OP1 is fucking legendary and objectively perfect.

first anime for me too, I was 8 or 9 and my insomnia kept me awake many nights even back then lol, luckily, cartoon network used to put the good shit after midnight, I was lucky enough to start watching it from the first episode(2003 serie) and the rest is history
this was the second Anime I ever watched, an it will always be better than the garbage Reboot FMA "Brotherhood"
