So since I've finished the game I thought it would be fun to share all my reactions to all of the cutscenes in gears of war 2, hope you enjoy!

Not gonna lie i always play some of the gears of war music cause its so good especially the music when they found Maria and the beginning music of the ride of the rigs
I want to play gears with someone but no plays 2 campaign for what I know so who want to work with me?
Campaign-wise, Gears 2 and 3 are fighting for my favorite spot at the top. I just really liked Gears 2 a lot for still trying to maintain the horror vibes that first Gears of War had.
I really enjoyed Gears 2 a lot!
IMO Gears 2 was the better of the 2. Gears 3 had too many bad jokes and annoying dialogue. Gears 1&2 kept the dark creepy atmosphere and used humor when it was needed. 3’s writing just isn’t as good as Gears 1&2

Exactly Gears 2 kept the horror vides, Gears 3 was more colorful tropical ish, Gears 1&2 were more colder and darker! still I think Gears 1 protentional of horror was higher and they could explore it more!
@@makanansari144 but gears was never really DESIGNED to be horror...yeah it is a dark tone shooter and certainly has its moments but to most out there (stereotypically, i'm not saying this is my view) Gears has been seen as one of three things; a game that was made to rival Halo's success, a 3rd person shooter about many symbolic war tropes liek sacrifice, honor, putting friendship before duty etc... or thirdly...a game about overly buff men who fight boogeymen. you should listen to people who don't like GOW describe it sometimes...its quite amusing...they say it is about steroid ripped men who fight mole people...and i just reply "that's funny considering you jerk off to Spartans".
the beggining scene with prescott giving his speech and the army mobilising set this game up perfectly, not to mention the music. gears of war will always be my favourite video game franchise. its good to see that people are giving it a playthrough
It also shows what Jin lacks in the new trilogy. The First Minister really can't rally humanity the way he did. Hell, even the stranded were inspired by that.
@@Shay96Prescott had that charisma that made men like Ben Carmine and Frederic Rojas fight like Lions, Jinn? She has to threaten her civilians to keep them in line.
That scene in Dom and Maria, the music….it shattered all of us. We felt so happy for him but just like him, we were so devoted to finding her that when we did, we never thought I’d she was alright…
i can never stand watching ben's death, like i love him so much, and the rest of delta were warming up to him.

@@GamerJoobChannel he was, also i dont know if you got the hint, but when dom mentions about not wearing a helmet so he could see snipers was a link to gears 1 when Anthony dies because of a sniper he couldnt see, so he took a dig at his dead brother :c

20:00 This is why I love Gears of War. Just like its art style and world, everything is big, dumb, and over the top, but it's played completely straight with established stakes. It's why so many players felt awful for a man built like a steam engine losing his wife to buff, albino monsters; because it was played out with some genuine human emotion.

Can we all just appreciate the voice acting, I will say even to now, after 13 years, I was 8 when I played this for the first time 10 years ago, and Prescott’s speech still hypes me up and gives me goosebumps, gears 3 will be a tear jerker, even 5

It was a great game!
Used to play this with my dad all the time. The first shooter I ever played was Gears 1 and we played through the whole second game. Still feel the nostalgia from it whenever I see videos on it.
Maria's death is sad AF. I legit cried when I saw it as a kid. I just did now too. It's disturbing because she looks healthy cause Dom remembers her the way she was, but she's actually on the brink of death.
Chairman Prescotts speech had little 8 year old me so inspired and pumped up to fight the locust, I felt like I was in this war myself. What I would do to go back in time, and relive this game series all over again.
18:30 is that a Halo CE reference? People make jokes about the second level “Halo” and cortana saying “that’s not a natural cave formation, someone built it.”

a lot of people have lost things in the war against the locust (or before) but Dom lost so much. he lost his parents, his brother, his kids...and now his wife. it's just awful.
Poor Dom 😢 He really has lost everything!
@@GamerJoobChannel He lost his brother about a year before the locust war, Carlos died when he went head on for an AA tank during the battle for aspho fields. A machine gunner shot him and his guts spilled out. Marcus took an AA tank and went on a rampage across the battle ground, destroying the other AA tanks and taking out UIR choppers trying to gun down Doms commando squad. Bernie had to shoot him in the head to stop his suffering. Dom lost his brother a day after his 2nd child had been born.

Gears 2 was my best moments in life I miss those days I love it so much want to play it forever! it's one of the best gears of war game and one of the best games in history of video games!
Im really happy to see someone experiencing this game for the first time. I was a kid when I first played this series and seeing you experice the game brought back a lot of nostalgic memories, thank you for that, I cant wait for you to experience Gears of War 3 :)

Gears Of War will always be my favorite series to play on Xbox360 , the whole lore story of it , the characters we know and love , the gameplay , feeling of lost , and Rip to the good characters that died and that poor Brumak at the end of the mission , Brumak best Kaiju ride ever .

Such a good game, from city, to the road to landown, the hollows, one of the riftworms, abandoned sketchy facility, to road to nexus, then to jacinto. Riding and driving vehicles and locust mounts along the way. Lots of sad moments, epic moments, and funny moments. Gears of War 2 was such an amazing game

I like Gears 2 a lot but Gears 3 is probably my favorite. Horde 2.0, 4 player campaign, retro lancer, depressed Dom which is heart breaking, a solid story DLC and many other things just made it so good. I also highly recommend the novels they offer so much in background information about the world and introduces a fantastic character that appears in 3

Great job 👍. I have tips for Jade and I hope u keep in mind trust me I'm a gears expert:
1. Don't rush into things take your time whether it's building or enemies; Ex: u missed the hammer of dawn pickup and u forgot about Brumaks weakness which is the guns don't aim their bodies
2. ALWAYS explore u missed ALOT of secrets and they r easy to find. In Gears 3 there will be more and r easy to spot so explore every nuke and cranny don't rush into the game, there r secrets even when u immediately start
3. Execute enemies cause in Gears 3 u get to execute enemies with every weapons u have

You know what’s sad about Dom seeing Anya again, when she got out he saw her normally but in reality she was already all deformed, Marcus saw her like Dom saw her seconds after right when she came out, but Dom’s love for her made him hallucinate she was ok at first, that’s just fucking sad imo, it wasn’t until Marcus told Dom when he realized.
