Hi i ha e just bought i new Qashqai and I have had several problems, one is like The hatch in The back i need to slam i Hard to lock. One is that when i was drivig the plastic piese on The side in The front with The name on blow away. The strabgest problem is that when i start or stopp The engine it is a clicking sound under The passenger seat. Some kind of relay with The battery.?
Lovely car, smart and practical. But what about the bowls club video? Also, that lathe of yours, there's one up in Porto I'm thinking of buying, could you do a review of it, I cannot find a review in English on youtube.
the bowls club video are short snipets to be put on the new bowls club web site, thats not been done yet. I could do a review of the lathe, mines going rusty so maybe it needs a review.
Surely under the warranty they have to sort it out or replace the car? Sorry to hear you've got this problem. I've got the 3rd gen model like you (got it early as well in Aug 21) and fortunately no issues.
Yes they do! There's more to building a car than your giving credit to the hard work that people are doing to get you your car. It's not "disgusting" it's a car... Cars are VERY complex bits of equipment especially the newest ones. My last job was to actually sign the quality control off at the last point before it left the factory... Believe me... The checks and adjustments on the car are done at multiple points through the factory assembly line for very good reasons. As cars are built they are moved about, they are measured to death... Using calibrated measuring equipment on every one... I think people are quick to jump on a band wagon without knowing what they are talking about...
I've got exactly same fault you close boot set off driving then get warning light to say boot is open it never shows up straight away. Then you have to slam it to .ake sure it's closed
Thanks a lot for your advice hoping you to enjoy your life with your new qashqaie.just I need to know why ordering the car take too much time however you are in Europe near to the factory that is in England and the car was published into the market 3months ago. Just I am asking this question because Nissan Egypt 🇪🇬 announced that the car will be in Egypt in the next month so how come 😅? Thanks again for your video and please make a new one with a check list that we should do before we signed the form of the car
Egypt cars are made in Sunderland. There's a worldwide shortage on parts caused by the pandemic and the silicon chip shortage.. So EVERYONE worldwide and every manufacturer has the same problem
Had someone a clicking sound under the passenger seat when you start and stop the car, just a second after? Its rather loud and IF you sit in The chair some Times you can feelit.
Sure it's the tailgate? Open the tailgate. Stand under it. Grab the left and right corners and shake the tailgate back and forth enough to hear if anything is dropped within...
My New 2021 Qashqai have a problema from new… sometimes it has a lag of 3 seconds since i presa the gás pedal to it actually works. I Thiink it’s something related to the mild hibryd sistem. Next monday Next monday the dealer will keep it for tests and to solve the problem. I hope this story will have an happy end…
There can be a lag if the car has switched its self off, part of the stop start system, i blip the accelerator just before moving off to ensure the car is running
I’ve driven 4 Qashqai as courtesy cars because my car has had 3 different faults and they are all the same. I found that putting it in sport mode helps
Take it out of eco mode and leave it off till cruising the motorway ONLY its pants round town... They're all like that on all models.. Its not a fault, my juke does it...
@@patrickcmurphy81 After one year the problem persists but the good news are: I ended up to get used to it. At the beginning it was very annoying and I even consider to sell it. It's not perfect but...
I like the new Qashqai Tekna plus, but there are some issues. My tailgate has its moments, waving my foot underneath is a little hit and miss. The traffic sign recognition is awful compared to my previous Tekna 2016 model. And I still can't figure out how to make it self park. The old model had a park assist button on the camera screen but this has nothing.
@@terrybrown6057 I contacted Nissan they said it had been removed. But, maybe they should tell the showroom salesmen who insisted it had everything the old model had and more. P.S. there is also a problem with the mirror not unfolding when the taligate is opened. Nissan have assured me they are looking into it.
You are closing the tailgate too gently in the first instance. It's a plastic tailgate. Not steel. So a little more effort than your giving is not a problem. There is a laid down spec the factory uses to measure the effort required to close the tailgate. Its done by measuring the speed the panel is traveling before you let go at the last minute. You should never keep your hands on the panel as you close it as panels dent... That's normal... All panels on all cars are very thin, like around 1mm and will dent easily. You need to be "throwing down" the tailgate a little more... I worked 23yrs doing static finished vehicle inspection on the qashqai since its launch... This was my job.. I retired after 30yrs so I've seen THOUSANDS of them and done offline activities measuring the efforts required to close them. Your simply going too slow. The dealer won't have a clue tbh.. They never usually do as they don't do this often enough.
So the "fault" is that when you don't close the boot properly, it doesn't lock? That's what's supposed to happen lol. You clearly demonstrated that when you do close it properly, it's fine.
Frustrating yes , how did you close your car boot before you had a power assist one. You would manually close it, like I said its Frustrating but not the end of the world. I've had 5 Qashqais now, my first was a 07 reg 1.5 visia , in the best colour they ever had for the Qashqai cafe latte, I then had the 2012 1.5dci 360 in gun metal , which I hated, the engine was from Renault and had this delay on the gas pedal and it was the sluggish out of all of the ones I've own. Then a 2015 1.5 dci tekna in black 2017 tekna. In black, I then went and bought a 2019 Mercedes Gla amg front line then offered a really good price on the Q\ashqai and I've always liked Mercedes, we picked the car up on Dec 23rd and Jan 17th 2020 I handed the keys back and got my money back, it was by far the worse car ever. I had to stop the car everytime I wanted the heating on, because of the location and my big hands I couldn't switch the thing on . Plus everything was on just 1 stalk, that was indicators windscreen wipers headlights cruise-limit control, so we now have the 1.3ltr160bhp tekna plus pro pilot in black , I was dubious in the beginning because I live in Cornwall and there's a lot of hills and with a small engine I thought it would be changing gear all the time, but I wax wrong, it's the most quietest perky car I've had . I can't wait to buy number 6 which will be the tekna plus hybrid in the grey like yours. The model you have is the biggest car so far the mk1 was 4 inches smaller which is considerably less than now. I've definitely got a thing for the cars
Renault owns 43.4% of Nissan's shares; Nissan owns 15% of Renault (but lacks voting power) and, since 2016, 34% of Mitsubishi Motors. ... there has always been a limited overlap of Renault and Nissan, not giving scope for margin savings.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the N-Connecta 158hp last month & was told it should be here in Nov/Dec. You got this one early!!
yes i went in and ordered what they had, not my choice of colour but a few had been made. now im waiting till nov/dec for the replacement
