- Friends, I’m so excited to announce that I’m starting my second album and I want you to be a part of it by joining me on Patreon!

Three years ago, thanks to a small group of people who believed in me, I began writing and recording my first record. These kind folks helped me get my studio started, waited patiently while I learned how to use it, and showed up every Tuesday to hear the new songs I was writing and how our plan for releasing the first Lady Moon record was coming along. These folks were and are my Patrons, and they not only made the album journey possible, they shared that journey with me, from the very first song being written, to the final master.
Here, my loving supporters on Kickstarter stepped in and made it possible to release that album on vinyl & CD, a big dream come true for a small fully independent artist!
Since then, labels and managers have been in touch, offering to help me ‘reach my full potential’, which usually looks something like signing the rights to my music away, or having an A & R department coach me on how to release my inner star and write ‘more commercially viable music’.
As exciting as all that sounds, I just want to keep making music for the folks who believe in me. And though a record label may not understand this... being able to create with integrity is the most important opportunity I can ask for as an artist.
Today I'm able to make the music I love without compromising, and this is because of my Patrons.

Just discovered your channel a few days ago. If it were more "commercial" I wouldn't be interested. I'm here for the centuries-old ballads and the mandolin chops. Love those! Hi from Northern England .Briefly ,not everyone has access to vinyl (I did in the 1960s ), Could you consider putting your wonderful music on CD or mp3 please ? By the way Red Dust is terrific Id love to hear a longer version one to play in the car
Your videos/music always brighten my day! I converted a three-quarter size guitar to an octave mandolin. I love the sound of it, but alas it's a bit hard on my joints so don't pick it up too often.

The problem with the music industrie is, that you are a beautiful female musician. They wouldn't help, if you are far less good looking and making music. But I love yer music, even without watching you playing and singing.
