hi I'm not sure if you guys know this but DK actually has TWO DPS SPECS. wow! yep I am back with a frost DK guide. I enjoy the cd reduction chillstreak and the self bouncing and some of the other pvp mods that you have in 10.2 for frost strike, obliterate, howling blast, etc. It's been a lot more enjoyable to play so I figured I would give you guys my FULL SETUP and guide for 10.2 FROST DK PVP! :D

Love it, almost 1700 in ss rn.
Only problem that i faced was "disarm" in solo shuffles and i had quit SS due to lot of "rating unchanged" results. But now i am going to again try SS with this sustain build....this build is a good counter for "disarm".
While bursting with Grip>Blind>DnD>Remorse>AZero>Rota... at which point you would apply the also heavy hitting chill streak skill? at the very first while blind to build up dmg+ or would it be too dangerous to break blind before remorse ramp up?

It’s bc literally everyone besides like the 3 people that he plays with hate him. Nobody likes Flark and that’s why he isn’t in AWC and shit man. He can’t get on a decent team so he BMs on twitch.

The spec has huge potential. I've seen frost dks pump out dps in raid groups, even out preform other specs. It just needs a little love.

for the honor gear when just starting to gear a dk do i want mostly mastery pieces or haste pieces? The choices between crit and the other is obvious, but what about the choices between haste and mastery? Thanks
Struggling overall with DK...Both unholy and Frost but just got my 2nd tier so hoping it turns around as I really enjoy DK.
I remember you used to run dual wield for sustained damage and 2 hander for burst. Now we have 2 hander in the sustain build, what changed to make that happen?

for the squishiness of the class for dk it might not be the most crazy fix but how about blizz just brings back the presences
How do you feel about the sustain build outside of SS like in 2s or 3s?
I feel it's okay in 3s if you have another spec that can sustain, but it's def the solo shuffle build. rn frost's niche in 3s is so trapped within one shotting an entire team, which is what I hope they fix in a possible upcoming rework.
Should've mentioned that for the "all in" build you want way more mastery then haste, the only haste i have is though 70 mast/30 haste gems and through set (and ring soon when i craft)
yep prob best to get a few pieces transferred over to mastery but prob don't need to go too far over DR

I'm successfully play an Unholy rott build with amazing Unholy gear in shuffle. Should i change to frost for the better direct dmg feeling instead of topping all dps meters with less finishing-power?
Try it for fun, for solo shuffle its different rating so doesnt affect your unholy rating

im playing like all classes but nothing feels like finishing with obliterate - dunno why. Maybe its WOTLK still
That's cause you have to work hard to get to that point, compared to other classes.

tried forst dk with full green pvp gear, somehow im dealing super low dps i drop very fast down to like 55k dps on the pvp dummy with burst spike off like 92k dps in solo schuffle i deal arround 42k dps....as unholy im doing waaaaaaaaay more dmg but i usually like frost more. Sadly it seems like im not able to play it is 3800 mastery maybe just to low? i tried to round up the rotation, tried two different builds, but nothing is working...
Looking at the leaderboards, unholy is much better, I think the top 1000 unholy player had 2k rating or so last I checked, while the top 1000 frost player had 1,6k, massive difference; I feel like for an average player (like is my case) frost is able to stay around 1,5k in solo shuffle and can do 120k obliterate crits without cds and 220-240k with all cds. I didn't test on a dummy, so I can't say, but I only have 4,3k mastery and that is with several conquest items, so I don't think yours was too low with honor gear.

Depends on what you're playing they actually do well in Solos if they got the right healer
