- Today im taking a look at the brand new Yeezy 450 Slide Cream. This is a Yeezy that I really never thought would ever release, after being first leaked back in 2020 it finally saw a retail release on August 3rd 2023. Even the production date on the slide is from 2020, so why have these been sat in a warehouse all these years?
I go over sizing of the Yeezy 450 Slide and compare them to the regular Yeezy slide in order to determine if they are worth the whopping $110 retail price.

I think they didn’t release the "new" slide model till now because they knew that the hype for the OG is still up there and as long as it stays that way they don’t have to invent anything new, with dropping a new version of the hyped slides, it would bring them some extra attention and interested buyers

Adidas tacking on another $50 is crazy. They took such a loss last year they bumped up the price almost by half. You know they are also producing more shoes on the low just to sell and mix with the older stock of unsold pairs
You have to understand making the new molds for the slides takes a lot of money from development and manufacture which is why they are more expensive which is expected
@@fatehahmad5197You're correct. I wonder if they have any more colorways of the 450 slides. They may since they've been sitting around in warehouses for 3 years. But the remaining Yeezy drops for 2023 will be all she wrote for the Adidas and Yeezy partnership. They don't intend on bringing the silhouettes back with no Yeezy branding in the future.
Producing more shoes on the low? Where did you pull this out from? Do you know how production contracts work?
@@FialectroI know that adidas kept producing shoes through like the end of last year, maybe early this year. But that was to honor their contracts with their factories out in Asia. I don't think they're making any of these shoes now.
@@abowolewa This is exactly how it works. Some of these manufacturing contracts could have been signed and paid for months in advance and a cancellation would cost them money as well.
