- This is a formerly top secret drum troop from Switzerland that made this debut performance at the 2003 Edinburgh Tattoo. They do not do this for a living but rather just for the fun of it.

Me too ! I had 7 years in Basel, you can hear drums practicing most of the year round.Still special to me tho
From the Middle Ages up until after the battle of Blenheim, side (snare) drummers throughout Europe were called 'Schwaschers'...because the Swiss were regarded as the Masters of the instrument. Just one of of those historical coincidences that send a shiver down your spine....
That's really interesting! I wondered if there was a cultural/historical connection with Swiss and drums. Now I see.
Those guys are like a Swiss clock: synchronized, precise, perfect.
Have seen them perform twice. Utterly amazing!!!

Eversince when did doing other rudiments determined a good show - .- ........ I'd rather keep comments like these urself then saying it out to others. Rythm X is awesome it's just that u shouldnt say bad things about other peopls show. Unless ur superior at drumming then them.

Great show - shoddy producer, no wait a bit ... actually crappy producer. Constantly cross-cutting between close-ups of a tattoo-performance?
i hate it when an audience claps and cheers through a performance, save it til the end, as both a performer and an audience member i find nothing more distracting, rude or annoying.
