Huge Peace Lily growing out the top of the aquarium

- I love the Peace Lily as much as I love Pothos, it's a great, beneficial plant to the aquarium and it grows really well! Does anybody else have this plant in their aquarium?

I have peace lilies all along the back of my 29 gallon tank and it looks great and I do not have to do water changes.
That’s so good, if I had more room I’d add more, but it only has one space each side.

I hang a light over my peace lilies to make them grow faster.
That would be ideal but I don’t want multiple lights coming from the ceiling. It’s in my living room lol
Very nice. So you propigated the peace lily in the tank? You didn't pull the plant out of the soil and have to clean it up?
Yeah I took a piece out of a plant pot in the soil

Thanks for watching, in each case they are just wedged in the gap, and one of them has a cable tie around just to secure it a bit more but it’s not really needed.
Gotta be careful with peace lilies as they're super poisonous to cats, but cats and aquariums don't mix to begin with, lol.
Does the Lilly out compete your regular plants in regards to fertilizer etc?
Good question but I’m actually not sure, I have a lot of fish so I think their waste would be more than enough for all the plants. It’s low tech so I half dose liquid ferts.

I don’t really do it, I might have done it once or twice but you shouldn’t have to
Do you think the peace lily absorbs more nitrates than pothos?
Not sure, depends on the size of it I imagine
what about insecticides on the plants when purchased leaking into the water from the plant

Not sure yet, it’s summer soon and they are pretty big so hopefully I get a lot of flowers soon.
How did you hang the peace lili on the tank to ensure it stays at the right height?
There’s a small square gap in the corner and it kind of just wedges in there with the Pothos roots
What do You think about monstera deliciosa?
I’ve never used it in the aquarium
What happened to the pond?
It’s still going strong
what lighting do you use sir ?
This is the fluval plant 3.0 but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the money, any cheap aquarium light will work fine

Yeah I do, that’s what my shallow tank uses
