That sounds like a great idea but it expect it would be rather costly. The very Best of Luck with that one! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, PAUL ComptonLodgeStudios.

Amazingly this place still stands today its on the market for £75 grand The building still has power and has a solitary light burning still in its complete auditorium today upstairs of the building houses a load of stuff for the loads of telecommunication towers that are on the roof of the place Still very dry inside this place today

That's amazing Jonathan. We looked at various buildings to set up a second musical museum, cheap prices but a lot of cost to get them back to a usable state. One nearby, a Memorial Hall of 1933, has half a roof with a lovely concert hall, dance floor and even a projection room £12K. But it would cost around 1 million £ to put it right. And then it's "Listed" - the final nail in the coffin - we walked away - PAUL.

This was obviously a nice cinema as were all the custom-built Gaumonts. We looked at the ex-Memorial Hall at Trehadfod in the Rhondda, which has been listed!, in a dreadful condition with half the roof missing overed at £70k. Naturally we walked away! We are looking for a venue in South Wales to house my 4 manual 20 unit Compton/Wurlitzer hybrid instrument and the ex-Gaumont Manchester 4/14 & GP Wurlitzer. Thanks Jonathan, PAUL.
