They are doing test according to ASTM D4940. if use ISO 11127-4,6 testing time will be 60 miniutes. Sample of abrasive & water have to take 100+100 ml.
FInal reading will be the inital value of the distilled water subtracted from the filtrate measured value.

why do we discard the first 10ml?
I think it is in order to discard any floating non abrasive matter that can add conductivity to the test

@@JJJ-qx5gu 11127-4,6 both standards for non metallic abrasives right ? is there any other standard for metallic abrasives test in ISO?
