This kid is only 19 and is 3 years younger than Zion Williamson (22) and 4 years younger than Ja Morant (23) and already looks more mature on and off the court than the both of them. Will be interesting to see how much longer Gregg Popovich (74) sticks around in San Antonio now that the Spurs have another generational player in their franchise.

@@Zach39107 first of, u have no clue how « fragile » he is. Second he didnt say he doesn’t wanna get stronger, he said he doesn’t need to « bulk up ». He s just conscious about his skinny frame and accepts it the way it is and probably wont be able to change it. In other interviews he mentioned how much he eats (a lot) to purposely get stronger. He s 19, he knows his body will change and he might be able to do like giannis. But he just wanna stay himself. Kevin durant did fine with same frame. He s smart in a lot of other ways. If u cant see that in his interviews, i cant help u, maybe u not too smart urself 😂

After the draft if all goes as plan.
This kid will land with the right NBA team that has the world experiences and the ability to build big men like David Robertson and Tim Duncan of the SanAntonio Spurs.
Tim was called on by the Spurs staff to train Wem one on one as his personal trainer and help him adjust to the NBA.
How lucky is Wembanjama as a future super star in the NBA to be around the best team to be even better.

When she compliments his english, Victor didn't disclose that French kids start learning english at age 11 until 12th grade. Obviously, they don't sound at all like native speakers and proficiency varies amongst students but overall, most French people (especially) of his generation can speak english quite well. Surprisingly, English doesn't count as a foreign language in the French school system! French kids officially start studying a foreign language at age 12 (Spanish, German, Italian etc) again through 12th grade. If that's not impressive enough, also starting at age 12, they can additionally choose to study Greek or Latin for up to three years (my son has just completed his final year of latin). To obtain a high school diploma, students must pass a national exam in the required subjects they've had to study. This process includes oral exams. As an American who was raised in both the French and US educational systems, I can confirm that our educational system is unfortunately a joke.
It seemed like an awkward question. Americans don't realize that other countries value multi-lingual ability. In the US, foreign languages are offered but not required.
Victor Wembanyama will arrive in the NBA and will do things what Ralph Sampson was able to do in the paint and then some. Victor will also display his incredible dribbling skills and court vision. The only concern will be his durability early on but I'm certain he will be fine. The San Antonio Spurs have a bright future again.
