Here Is A Quick Update On The Sinkhole That Developed At The Crater Of Diamonds State Park

The Crater of Diamonds State Park has experienced several, heavy rains since the sinkhole first appeared on their diamond search field around Memorial Day this year. Rain runs down the furrow and drops into the sinkhole. Join me now for this short update to see if it has changed any in the last couple of weeks.

I would bet there is a diamond as big as a basketball in that hole.

Rope and camera. Lets see how deep and wide it is. Could be 2ft wide or a cavern.

I would love to get in there with a light and camera. I can't get permission to go past the safety barricade. It’s probably a bore hole from a few years back when a company came in and did some exploration drilling for commercial diamond mine feasibility.

Yes, maybe so. I have a map that shows where all of that was done as well as some trenches they dug for sampling. I'll have to check. Thanks for the suggestion.
