I appreciate the word young brotha', but some of us OG's are battle worn and tired. I made a dent here in the USA and created a great legacy with my children who are trained and ready to bear the torch. You are absolutely right Homie! Our people built this MF and we have every right to call this our country and our home, Homeboy! Some of us want to be amongst family to find out what we lost chasing the "American Dream" which is a lie! We have to see it, experience it and live it to further disprove the lies, since our time is limited. We have so many countries to visit and thousands upon thousands of years of history and traditions to catch up on. We are also going home because our Ancestral home needs successful educated Africans to help get it on track. Europeans go back to Europe all the time when there in trouble. Eg. The French Revolution
      French War against Haiti
      WWI
      WWII
      Falkland Islands
      Bosnia
      Kosovo
      Iraq
      Iran
      Israel
All to support and care for Indo-Europeans bka Arians. Marcus Garvey is said to have wanted us to go back to Africa. Many don't know that he wanted us to go back mentally and spiritually first.
Please consider this point of view, Homie...

@Black Minoan I think the argument is stupid. Why waste time sheding your blood and attempting to force yourself a spot at White America's table? No.
Akon said it best, America was never designed for black people. Yes our blood, sweat and tears are in America but if the whites continually profit off of our ignorance and suffering. I say enough.
The bottom line.. Go where you're loved, not tolerated.

@Brigitte Groetzinger I love you madam and thanks for the good observation.
God blessed the land of Africa, the envy of the whole world, where the leader's were tricked to take loan every year from world bank with multiple extra hidden burden interest charges.
      We shall overcome them.

    • @hightech4867
      @hightech4867 Před 5 lety

@Brigitte Groetzinger sweetheart I'm not angry with you because you've stated it right. The problem of Africa is larger than life, we need more leader's like Gaddafi but will the west allow them to be alive, the answer is no. I think the picture is that nothing good comes from Africa, that's the reason the youth and old live d all their wasted years in Europe, America, Arabs, Asia, Australia only comes back to be buried in Africa land. It is too sad because the leaders are causing 85% of the problem in Africa as a puppet to the western world controlling the price of their natural resources with a single currency called dollars. If you remember vividly, late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah rejected such ideas and called for organization for Africa unity but was killed by poisoning. Right now, the Rwandan president Paul is building the country in a very unique way, deep down the heart of the so called superior Western world, they are not happy about the development. If the US president can call Africa a shithole countries then you must know they never meant well for the black race and it will be so terrible is we don't start loving ourselves and stop traveling out in the name of looking for greener pastures abroad. I wish all black race can grab all the books of Marcus Garvey to read but they are so lazy to read and that's great danger because the secret of this world was written in books.
Once again my beautiful Brigitte, I love you with an open arms, that's the African tradition and our heritage for ages that makes other foreign religion dominated African land but it's all good, may God bless our beautiful continent and the world, Amen.

This young man who shared his feelings of coming back to Africa for the first time made me cry, it touch me so much because,,,,, I over stand the emotional feelings,,,,,,,,,I was there as well. I came back through THE DOORS OF NO RETURN AND RETURN BACK TO THE LAND OF MY ANCESTORS in the Cape Coast Of Ghana West Africa and stayed over two months the first time, and didn't want to come back to the USA, But,,,,,,,..I had obligation. I am one of the many ones who was successful in touching the soils of Alkebulan/Thee Mother Land/The Heart Beat Of The Planet Earth/Africa, and I am so happy that the way was made for me to go. I love Africa, the people and the land. Africa is what's happening everybody. Its where its at. Its an experience embedded in my spirit that will be with me for the rest of my life. I will all ways share this herstory of mine with my grand children, great grand children and future generation unborn.

@Shiku Shee, you are so right, I'm am African American and recently began studying both Tswana and Swahili, I will be traveling to both Tanzania and Botswana and June, I want to be more than a tourist, I want to know a bit of the language so that I can feel more connected to the people and land of my ancestors who suffered and fought so hard for us.
These are really exciting times that we are living in, African people throughout the Diaspora are starting to connect and learn of each other's histories, this is very important and powerful. It is not by surprised that no matter were African people are the media always tries to keep us misinformed and separated from each other, they know and fear that when we realize that we are one people, we will begin to promote and share a common message and goals.
Much love from your brother in America.

I keep telling my middle class Afro-American friends that they can be millionaires if they took their skills to places like Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya etc. There's high demand for for just about every type of service out there, as the middle classes are expanding rapidly and the countries' economies are booming. A recent World Bank report showed that 6 of the world's 10 fastest growing economies are in Africa. Ghana was top of the list.
