I actually took this team off Joey’s smogon wall a while ago and ended up facing the creator on showdown with it. We laughed about how Blunder probably saw the Lapras on his wall and scrolled past it, but here we are… Goes to show the agency will truly harness any weapon with it’s full effectiveness.

To answer the question of the best Loaded Dice user, it’s Koriadon in Ubers. Scale Shot made that thing so much better (and maybe even banworthy imo) than using Flame Charge for speed boost + Dragon Claw for STAB.

being aggressively anti-ban on gouging fire. long story short but he’s of the opinion that ppl losing to GF is a bit of a skill issue seeing as it has mediocre win rates and only so-so pickrates. added onto limited sets means it’s not worthy of a ban to him. it was very strongly worded and most concerns are over his tone as opposed to addressing his (admittedly valid) point
@@i.theworstguys298 I hate reading Smogon threads, but I read it and agree with CTC. GF isn't broken and I hate the ban happy nature of this gen in the first place. We never let a meta develop. Everytime something strong comes up, ban. Then something else strong comes up, ban. And so and so. Smogon threads are full of salt and brain rot. And personally, Smogon players are soft. Personally I'm just about sick of adjusting to a new meta every month for one generation...

I definitely soft agree. I do think GF is a bit of a guessing game for most matchups and can certainly be deemed ‘uncompetitive’. I don’t think it’s nearly as strong as Bax or Sneasler. I mean those pick/win rates are just not those of a ban-worthy mon at all lol
