For me the best part was the jumpscare I got when I actually took Revenant out of my foundry to master and feed to the wall

Well Sab, if the quest still functions like it did when i went through it years ago, the silver lining is that the sadistic friends that gifted Revenant to you inadvertently saved you 12 hours of having to build each revenant part in order to progress the story - because DE thought the best way to motivate people to do Cetus Missions would be to tie them to the quest and have the quest softlock until you got the next part to continue the story (but having him prior avoids all that nonsense).
Yep, that is the thing with this quest, and also the fact power creep is a thing

THE WORST PART IS THAT IF YOU GET REV FROM THE CIRCUIT REWARDS THE CHILD STILL YELLS AT YOU AFTER YOU BUILT HIM
I remember procastinating from building Revenant for years and when I finally did, Nakak started talking in my foundry out of nowhere and I was like "Who tf is this kid???"
Memes aside, in storytelling, It's very hard to care for a person that you have never seen nor have no context for. Even with 50 lines about them xd
I have no idea how long it's been since Revenant came out, but I still have the Lotus bugging me about this unfinished quest to this day.
Mask of the Revenant is genuinely one of the worst quests in the game. Purely because it's literally just dialogue and the most basic specter fights. It's not even good dialogue. The whole thing is just "My brother used to do parkour until he got careless and died. Revenant used to guard Cetus until he got careless and died." Spread over like 10-15 minutes of talking while the player has literally nothing to do.
This could be reworked into a proper quest to teach you how to fight eidolons (as well as rework them to be less bs and meta induced), their origins and involve it with the story of revenant in a way better story, rather than spooky camp story simulator and go make konzu tasks hoping for a BLUEPRINT DROP as a delayer
That would imply revenant was good for eidolon hunts, which until the invulnerability gate buff, he wasn't
DE explaining something instead of the comunity, nope, that arent my DE.
@@quantumblauthor7300 the problem is this quest is just a poorly told story gatekept by blueprints, and some quotes that got old and irrelevant, tweaking details of it would be a step for making this quest better, and with it, the quote "she had a dream of a new Eidolon emerging and they will need this Warframe's power to combat the new threat"

If you didn't buy her with plat I would recomand doing the quest, because Yareli even with her janky K-Drive mechanic is a very fun and underated warframe.

Oh, oh it gets worse. The original version of this quest would lock you out for atleast 12 hours of each story time because you needed to build all his components, the blueprints for which, are not given to you. No. They wanted you to farm Cetus Bounties to obtain them like they still do now. But you NEEDED to build Chassis, Neurooptics and Systems to even GET through this quest. And i am a sorry sop that wasted 8 hours of my life because the neurooptics just didnt want to drop. Please just buy this frame, do yourself a favor and do not suffer
Could've been worse. They could've made it so you can't get all 3 at once and build them together and instead needed to build the first part to unlock the other part as a potential reward drop for the next piece

Ever since I got Revanent Prime I've forgotten that quest even existed
I did this quest last night, having farmed Rev a week+ ago not knowing about the rep farm and all of that for his quest (only been playing a couple weeks) and it's kind of hilarious watching someone so much farther in the game complete it. It was such a simple quest, a little bit of "lore" but honestly, not a bad little side quest. I think hiding the BP behind quill rep is REALLY strange given how easy it was for me, a brand new player, to casually farm bounties for his parts so early on.
This quest wasn't nearly as bad as Waverider. I though the comic was awesome, the kid sitting there talking about his friend dying every two seconds was annoying, but I could handle it. The quest itself was fine, but that "story" just ENDS. He's like "Oh yeah, you're gonna get us, no, you're not" and then you get a letter because somehow this kid 5head figured out the whole situation behind your back, never explained it to you or let on.. and just... wtf... it felt like a complete tack on at the end of the story. I had hoped we'd find something to help her, not woah she's magically better cause grandmommy magic and also I've been busy behind the scenes this whole time not actually by my friends side.
This quest was easy and simple, I don't get what people had trouble with, and at least this little girl had some fun lore for something and wanted you to go check stuff out, idk.

I just finished this stupid quest. You don’t need all of the parts for Revenant. All you need is 3 random parts. It’s been since POE came out until 3 days ago. That’s how long it took for me to finish this quest. I felt so retarded, grinding for Revenant’s damn Systems (plus I still don’t have Auger Secrets and I’m MR25).
i think it was a good idea for me to sell prime junk to get plat to buy revenant prime parts so I could get this frame without suffering bad dialog

I hate Glast Gambit so much more. If I could, I would make the DE staffer who designed it play it a thousand times in a row as punishment.
That quest is a trifecta of mind-numbing, tedious monotony; wasting your precious time on Earth for nothing; and kiddie-shit-storytelling.
The one good thing it did is that it cured the OCD-completionist part in me. Today, if something makes me that violently bored, I press Alt+F4.

I'm gonna guess that you editied the parts out of you crafting the warframe part blueprints to procced with the quest. If you didn't, then wtf when did did they change that?

He was gifted the Warframe. It proceeds uninterrupted if you already have it. Otherwise ya you need to build a part to get the next section of dialogue.
if you have the warframe, it skips that bullshitery.
It was annoying back then, because youtubers were all just "yea it's no big deal, just 30 minutes and you're done" because they all got the Warframe from DE, while us plebs had to grind like dogs

It's why Revenant Prime is more preferable. Just has better stats with an RNG to get all the parts and materials to make him being kinda forgiving then the bounties.
