Something a little slower today with this RAF A400 based at Brize Norton Low Level training near Dolgellau south Snowdonia Wales
Filmed on a Sony AX53 this A400 did two passes with the second pass with the video camera fixed on top of my Nikon Z8 hence the wind noise as I did not have an external mic on for that pass
I am from Uruguay. First time I saw an A400 was in 2016 or so when she toured South America, looked like a C17, except that she had big propellers! Never knew about her existence. Stunning aircraft.
This is a nice quiet spot. Let's pitch the tents here!

@@ElwynR we live under the penultimate leg of the flight path to Leeds/Bradford, military aircraft sometimes use the airport for touch and goes. I was monitoring FlightRadar24 and noticed that the A400 was heading our way, camera was on standby! It was at around 1500 feet 👍🏻
A400 and C17 are always fun to watch low.

Something about it says it exceeds in most ways.

Get an Atlas refuelling with a Voyager through the Mach Loop. Would be nice to see, but not advisable. Bit risky. Too many corners.
But hell, Blackbuck did it in the South Atlantic in difficult conditions, mostly not knowing where they were. And in the dark.
The V and H stabs on the A400 are ridiculously large.
