Really amazing how the years go bye , walking around in the salvage yard, is kind of like walking around inside of someone’s mind, we process a lot of information over the years, somethings are kept, somethings are discarded. Always enjoy salvage yard videos, thank you, Tony

I love your Junk Yard Crawls. It's like a graveyard where good cars go to die. I know we can't save them all, but it's ashamed they are there. It is good to see someone has a place, to store these old cars, as their final resting place.

We had a yard similar to this one here in NW Arkansas and when the old Man died and the Son got Cancer, the Mom just sold the whole yard(800+ cars most 1950-95) off to the crushers then the land to house developers. I love these old yards, but so many are disappearing with the older generation dying off.

So from now on, I will shout out about vehicles that I recognize.
1967 Mercury Cougar. The 1968 had reflectors in the rear quarters. 1969 &1970 were a different body design. 1970 was also the last year for hide-a-way headlights.

100% correct back when I first started visiting junk yards about 2/3 of the cars looked perfectly good just having a bad trans or engine. They could have easily been fixed and driven another ten years but a 200 dollar trans in a 200 car did not make since. I bought my first car in 1970, a 61 thunderbird for $225 and it had a new very nice paint job on it. There were half dozen 61-63 birds just in the one yard that I got parts from. Two of the cars were actually nicer than mine with perfect interiors and original but faded paint. Today it seems that cars wear equally all over and when they are ready for the junk yard they are worn out mechanically and have crappy interiors and exteriors.

@@tonyscarcare5657 Believe it or not, trees are another major interest of mine. A White Oak growing out of a Mercury or Oldsmobile brings these two hobbies together. If you want to score the hobby hat trick in one video, turn one of the oaks into a piece of furniture or part of a house with classic, American or Canadian made Porter-Cable power tools. At this time, those tools are far cheaper to collect than classic cars in the equivalent state of repair. 🥳🥳🥳 Getting back to old cars, an Uncle and Aunt had a Montego MX wagon of the same or similar year as that coupe.

I don't recall seeing one in there, but if there is, I'll show it to you.

They need to turn this junk into cash and enjoy life. They have a fortune in scrap metal .Scrap the stuff that really holds no more value for parts. Keep the best and get rid of the rest. Enjoy the fruits of your labor before it's to late and you can no longer do much. I don't understand these hoarders.

They do, but they do not ship anything. I'll disclose all the information on the last video. Please be patient. Thanks!

You keep saying that you'll disclose the location of the yard once you're done making your videos. So, you're okay with denying the yard a lot of potential income for the sake of your views?

I wouldn't say that. They do not ship parts, so whoever is interested in anything will have to make the trip. They have plenty of business as it is.

@@tonyscarcare5657 Fair enough. I guess I just don't get the point behind hiding where the yard is. Everyday local customers are still going to be buying stuff, and I doubt a huge enough number of people will make the trip after seeing the video to hurt the making of the video any.

Well, the owners are going through some things right now, and they don't need the extra stress. I told them I wouldn't disclose it until they were ready. They were kind enough to tell me do the videos. They were not there when I did what I did. They had a couple of guys filling in. I got permission months ago. They don't need to be dealing with all of the phone calls right now. They do not ship, but people will likely drive them crazy for a while.

You focus on the worst of the worst cars. The cars that have trees growing thru, buried in the ground, unsalvagable rustbuckets... maybe edit your vids and ask viewers what they are interested in seeing? I understand the nostalgia. but it hurts more than helps those of us who are interested in restoring or purchasing vintage. If anything, showing nostalgic cars that are pretty dilapidated is heartbreaking.

There's nothing "old" in there that is worth saving! They've sat on the ground for so long that there's no floorboards left in them. You are the first one out of over 13k views to complain. I'm trying to show what I can. There's a lot!
