Thank you! Really interesting to get such an overview! Great job!
Interesting video i gave you my like.👍
But i think the video needs a part 2 for example recently i discover that Norway have some island. Besides i think asian countries got some lands too.
Should do part 2 with Tuscany. Poland Lithuania. Knights of Malta (technically Two Sicilies)
nice
Good video 👍👍👍
Will there be a part 2 to this? There was one you left out, the Ottoman Empire once had a colony on the island of Sumatra, it was called the aceh sultanate
Not colony but protectorate
it was a protectorate the ottomans didnt control them directly
Swedish had colony in India tn state near to denmarks tranquebar nd Austria also had territories in Burma 🇲🇲Myanmar central and South also few regions in west siem 🇹🇭thIlland
Well, Sweden at least tried... 🙂
(Sorry Sweden, couldn't help myself). 🤷🏻♂️
@Complex CR
Me? Danish.
It tried but fell short to the British-Spanish-French Empires
They focused on Europe.

While some of those places were named for Scotland and Scottish cities and had Scottish settlers, I’m pretty sure they weren’t Scottish-owned territories. Scotland, sadly, has been controlled by the English for several centuries.
Yes they were. The colonies of Nova Scotia and New Caledonia were both established before the 1707 acts of union which united the two countries into the Kingdom of Great Britain. Unfortunately the colonies didn't last long and it ultimately ended in failure.
England has never controlled nor successfully conquered Scotland, it is a voluntary member of a union with England, Wales and Northern Ireland. A union which it voted in favour of in 2014.
Source - I'm Scottish.
Wtf is with music!?? I had to mute it.
Bruh how can you say Denmark was a small colonial empire when we ruled over most of Europe during middle ages and up the years?
It's literally -colonial- empire. Not the classic type of empire. Sweden also had a rather sizeable empire for a short while for example, but here we're looking specifically at their colonial efforts.
And most of Europe is a bit much I'd say. Rather, most of northern Europe
Prøv at læs noget historie, før du skriver noget dumt
Not compare to the British, Spanish, French Colonial Empires
why did you say iceland instead of Denmark? Iceland was a part of Denmark and was never imperialist, so get your facts right
He literally said Iceland was apart of Denmark in the video
Scotland owned Iceland and Greenland at one point
Exotic Pantha no
Gay Frog GOD yes
Exotic Pantha when?
