In clutch situations, Mike Piazza hit big home runs off some of Rogers best pitches. So much so that Roger had to play bean ball. In the end, Mike Piazza had the class and respect of fans. Roger lost it.

Rocket has always been my favorite player, right or wrong. I do believe I’m my heart of hearts Rocket never wanted to hit Mikey in the head, pitch up and in? Yes, but the head no way. Rocket was a fierce competitor and it killed him that Piazza owned him.
