Ikr, I never realized about it before

Ross did right thing he rectified his mistake after that casual sex.
He rectified nothing. He screwed up (again, just differently this time) and that is not made up for with his so-called "nice guy" bit in this scene. In this scene, Rachel needed him and he missed that entirely. Clueless.
4:00 Ross was a true gentleman in this scene. Good job brother
Its pretty rare, still i can relate to that Men not reciprocating the same when their women wanted to have sex. That's why these scenes are so funny. Usually Men get seduced so easily by women, not the other way around.
"....I should get a medal for that" Ross's lines were hitting so true.
You've got to be kidding me. 🤣

Everybody saying Ross was right is so gratifying
The funniest part is they never wanna “make love” when Ross wants to but when Rachel wants to he doesn’t want to 😂.
I just don't know why they didn't get back together sooner. A lot of these scenes including after Rachel gave birth would have been the perfect moments to bring them back together. Oh well, it's all in the past now
I think season ten was a great time I can see why the writers didn’t want them when Emma was born but earlier in season ten would have been better.
People wanted to have another season.
@@williamdewit5432 I don’t think the actors did from what I heard so as much as I wanted more Ross and Rachel I think the actors wouldn’t have been happy.

I agree. They had small moments throughout the seasons as if to remind us that they WERE a couple, but nothing to amplify that they could still BE a couple. So many openings and storylines that could’ve blossomed into something more. I’m happy they ended up together but I would’ve liked to see an entire season building up to their reconciliation and at least a few episodes as them as a couple. I don’t know why they didn’t do this.
They are really made for each other
Their relationship is nothing but toxic. They literally have trust issues and constant arguments.
The thing I hate the most is the fact that she treats him badly because he refused to sleep with her.
Yeah but she understands later on.
Taking advantage I'm giving you the advantage
That's how weak women are.
Yeah I think this is more common than we think. Which is not unfair either her points of feeling embarrassed and ashamed and aloe. Are all valid. Not to mention that women being rejected in one of the spheres it rarely happens can make them feel undesirable which is very destructive to a woman’s self esteem. Unfortunately these emotions are also often (not always) turned back on a man in a less than peaceful or fair way.
@@supergirlvideoclips894 Exactly, she was going through a harrowing experience with her dad having a heart attack and once it was over she appreciated Ross not taking advantage of her when she was vulnerable.
These are the best scenes, especially the one when pregnant Rachel tries to entice Ross into having sex. The whole scene is so funny. Both actors are awesome comedians with great chemistry and the dialogues are so sparky. 😂 "make love?! What? Are you a girl?" / "I love it when you talk dirty to me"

Whicht episode is this?
Ross wasn’t the toxic one in their whole relationship, Rachel for the most part was causing it. Ross was totally in the right here. Rachel was very emotional because of her father suffering a heart attack and she was emotional and wasn’t thinking clearly. Ross didn’t want to take advantage of her as he learned from what he did in the past. Ross was being a good man and the fact Rachel was mad at him for not having sex with her the next morning, it shows how toxic and she is. Ross was not the problem in their relationship and this scene proves it.
Yes friends didn't need Emily to return season 10 no point that part was over season 5.
Why?
Just Like this whole Rachel Joey Thing should have ended after Joey told He Loved him....then in season 9 ross and Rachel getting Back together an marrying in s 10
@@zigo373Oh geez,,thank you for spoiling it
Rachel was insufferable and eternally immature. She literally came to Ross every single time she wanted sex, running after him, then rejected him, then if he didn't want to have sex out of respect for her, to not take advantage of her because of her vulnerable state, she got mad at him too. Ross also didn't want to have sex with her at first when she was pregnant because she was forcing him to do it, he felt obligated by what the doctor said, and that creates the most unsexy, ugly situation, if you have to force yourself to do it, yet Rachel still mocked him and then expected him to have sex with her! I get Ross 100%. Seriously, Rachel's toxicity had no bounds! How on Earth anyone could think Ross is toxic is beyond me, Rachel was 100000000000000 times more toxic!! She was the worst character on this show by a mile, and Ross deserved so much better!
They both were very very toxic
Sounds like you know what it’s like to be pregnant and miserable or grieving. It’s two fictional people and sounds like a “Rachel” put you in your place recently. For fiction to work well, characters have to be human. I don’t know where you’ve been, but I see more toxicity in you and every single human I come across than Ross and Rachel. It’s a sitcom not reality TV. And these things were aired over 20-30 years ago. For Christ’s sake, my 20-year-old daughter was a newborn when the series finale aired.
Imagine forcing anyone to have sex, in any situation, and then making this person, who didn't want sex, the bad guy! It's really unbelievable how Ross always gets hate from this fandom when in reality, if you watched the show with attention, you know there is no doubt that Rachel was the one who was the most toxic, absolutely awful, and cruel character! Please, reverse the roles, and imagine this situation as if Ross was the one who tried to force Rachel to have sex, and then got mad at Rachel that she refused him. Imagine this, and ask yourself what the comments would be if Ross was the one forcing himself on Rachel? It's obvious, that if that was the case, all the people in the comments would bash Ross ruthlessly! Yet when it comes to Rachel, people watch these scenes here, and still some defend her! I can't believe how awful this fandom is, especially the online, vocal part of the fandom! They constantly defend and excuse Rachel, and attack Ross, even tho Rachel is the awful one! Rachel literally was forcing Ross to have sex, and when he didn't want to, she berated him and mocked him! This woman was an insufferable, self-centered, spoiled narcissist, and completely unredeemable!
I feel so sorry for David! Imagine being such an amazing comedy actor, giving your all for the role and the performance, but because the creators and the writers decided that your character will be entangled with the most toxic, most manipulative woman character on TV ever, for most of the show, all your work gets ruined! I can't stand the haters and hypocrites in this fandom, mostly trolls! they only attack Ross, giving all the other characters constant excuses, even tho the other characters did awful things too, and in fact, way worse, because all people are complex and make mistakes, but somehow they always bash only Ross! Hypocrites! David was iconic and brilliant in this role, absolutely the funniest character of the show, and the best, he just deserved so much better than the hateful, manipulative narcissist Rachel!

@JeanPierre-hb9mv you are spot on about Joey and Rachel being the worst thing, but wrong about Rachel and Joey's 'love'. Joey and Rachel never said they love each other in that sense, not once, they didn't love each other. Joey just said he has a crush on Rachel, and Rachel said she has a crush on Joey, and they experimented but if you remember, it ended when they couldn't even have sex once, and they realized they are both just friends. So this storyline ended in literally nothing and was for nothing, the only thing the creators did with this was ruin Joey as a friend, who went after his best friend's baby momma, that is all. this is why this storyline was so atrocious!
he really should get a medal for that. I know I couldn't.

All I can hear is WE WERE ON A BREAK🤣🤣
This show is so much fun!
Anyone saying that Ross is toxic and that he’s the villain of the show definitely hasn’t seen these scenes. He has done some bad things in the past, big deal, that’s called being human.
Rachel was an awful, horrible person and the worst character on the show, and deserved all the bad that happened to her and more! Period! Here, she displays her typical egoism and entitlement! She was awfully jealous of every single girl who got close to Ross, ruined all his relationships, and was way more toxic to him than he was to her.
Rachel gave Ross and Julie bad sex advice to break them up, called Julie ugly slurs behind her back, wanted to ruin her appearance so she gave Phoebe false instructions on how to ruin Julie's hair, and finally, Rachel had no problem kissing Ross when he was with Julie, so clearly cheating was not a problem when the guy was cheating with her lol
Rachel also insulted Bonnie behind her back even tho she didn't know her, and ruined Bonnie's appearance just like she did with Julie, but what is worse, and never talked about in the context of Bonnie's and Ross' relationship, is how Rachel started openly flirting with Ross in the beach house! When Monica actually was the one showing concern about how Rachel could behave awfully this way, Rachel admitted to Monica in the beach house that she doesn't care if Bonnie is Ross' current girlfriend, she had the whole plan to get him back!
Yet Rachel was the one who literally broke up with him! Then got together with Mark, Ross called drunk from the bar and heard Mark on the phone in Rachel's apartment. Ross, on his part, was literally just worried about Mark, and turns out, he was dead on about Mark! Right after Chloe appeared, she took advantage of drunk Ross, so Ross never cheated and had every reason to be angry, but Rachel actually had zero problem with destroying the relationships of other people and cheating! And it's a zero problem for her fans too but oh, suddenly Rachel is a poor victim who was cheated on when she broke up with Ross.
These fans are pathetic, just as Rachel was, and especially Rachel's female feminist fans, who NEVER talk about how horribly she treated other women on the show, and how she had no problem with cheating when she was the one kissing the guy, but oh, they cry about how Ross
'cheated on her', even tho she broke up with him before all this!
She was crazy possessive towards Ross, all the things that she did to Julie, Bonnie, Emily, the girl from the shop - the list goes on and on. She lied, and she tricked Ross into marrying her in Vegas, it was her idea, but she blamed it all on Ross! And she only admitted to it when Ross brought her divorce papers at the end!
She sexually harassed Tag during his first job interview. Then, later on, she dated Tag who was her subordinate, so there was an imbalance of power between them, and she would be fired in the real world for this! People who compare this to Elizabeth- Ross situation forget that Elizabeth graduated from Ross's class before they started dating, and it's explicitly said on the show, so no, she wasn't his student anymore. So Ross was in a normal relationship with a 24-year-old, consenting adult, who wanted to date him, and she even made the first move (when they met in person when Ross made the list of grades at the end of the semester).
The difference with Rachel is, that Tag was her assistant for the entire duration of their relationship, and she was his boss. This situation also shows Rachel's hypocrisy once again, because she mocked Ross for dating Elizabeth yet she had zero problem getting together with Tag a season later!
She lied to her father about Ross not wanting to marry her when she told him about the pregnancy, and yet the truth was the opposite: Ross literally proposed the marriage to her in the hospital the first day she told him about her pregnancy, and she rejected the offer. And it was during this first day, because, go and notice, while watching this episode, that Ross had the same clothes on him in this episode, and this was the very next episode after the one in which Rachel told him about her pregnancy, and Rachel said in this first episode that she has a doctor appointment later on, so this was one day told in two episodes!! And so Ross proposed the marriage the same day! He just needed a moment to absorb this big information, as an unexpected pregnancy is always a shock. But that's all. And this is why Ross responded to Dr. Greene's allegations that he did offer to marry Rachel! But Rachel lied to her father. As a result of these lies, Rachel's dad almost ruined Ross' relationship with Mona!
This is why the Hugh Laurie scene on the plane is my favorite moment on Friends ever -finally, someone actually told the truth about the insufferable, spoiled, hypocritical narcissist that Rachel always was, and to her face! She was by far the worst, most toxic, most hypocritical character on this show! And her fans are all these things too. Ross deserved so much better!
Finally a good comment!
Wow, aren't you a lovely person being so angry about a fictional character.
do you realize it’s a show which is fictional? Three divorces and say someone else’s name at altar is not happening in real life. So, enjoy simply the show!

@dxkp maybe you shouldn't comment if you admit you didn't watch the show. she was not pregnant here when he rejected her, she was upset because her dad had a heart attack, and so Ross was absolutely right for refusing to take advantage of her emotional vulnerability. The scene where Rachel is pregnant and Ross doesn't want to have sex - he didn't want to have sex at first, because they were still trying other methods to get the baby out, and Rachel was literally awful to him, mocking him. But then he actually started to do it, he started the sex, and it worked right away, as you can see in this scene. It was also written this way for comedy's sake, it's a sitcom. so wtf is your problem even, what are you whining about?!
@suzzannec Ross was the most mature out of all of them years earlier, thanks to fatherhood, he already matured with Ben, 'genius'. And don't even start with 'Ben wasn't on the show much blah blah' - that only happened because first, it was never a show focused on kids, Ben was always only a background character but when he appeared, every time Ross took care of him and was a very loving father, so he was mature already when he got Ben. And second Cole who played older Ben got a better, main role on a different show, Disney show, so he couldn't be on Friends after season 8. But Ross matured already when he had Ben, and the fact that Rachel drove him crazy with her toxic behavior is a completely separate thing. Rachel was the one eternally immature, selfish, spoiled, manipulative, and the one who NEVER matured - she literally took Emma to a beauty pageant only for money and her own ego. Rachel was awful.

I said no once to a friend whose bf cheated on her... she never talked to me again... some girls are too stupid to realize it is respect and like Ross said this kind of act deserve a medal !
If Ross said "yes" then Rachel would've accused him of taking advantage of her. NO ONE wants a false rape accusation. This is why Ross said "no" instead, he's trying to be the good guy.
@@BrozBeforeHoez yeah but to be fair, during the time of cast people werent that sensitive about the whole rape border thing.

Nah Rachel and Joey is even worst.. it was not anticlimactic at all bc since season 3 they broke up and the writters keeping apart from each other every season. So anticlimactic will be don’t get them together after all this years and seasons always putting something that ruined the moment and they split. Joey being in love with Rachel have sense but Rachel being in love with Joey doesn’t have sense at all
@@JeanPierre-hb9mv you are spot on about Joey and Rachel being the worst thing, but wrong about Rachel and Joey's 'love'.
Joey and Rachel's thing was the worst part of the show that almost ruined it, and would never happen as a serious thing, it didn't make any sense at all. Joey and Rachel was a cringeworthy, inorganic, forced storyline just for ratings, literally at the end of the show in season 8, and the creators and the writers said it themselves in various interviews, most recently after the recent reunion.
First, even the actors - Matt and Jen - absolutely hated the Joey and Rachel storyline, which Jenniffer and Matt have been talking about for years. Both thought the storyline was ridiculous (it was) since day 1 and actually, it ended so quickly also thanks to them! Already in season 8, they thought that it is nonsense that Joey has a crush on Rachel completely out of the blue just because he started to be roommates with her, and by season 10 when the writers finally put them together, they absolutely hated it, this is why it ended so quickly, literally in 3 episodes. That tells you all you need to know, if even the actors, who know their characters the best, didn't want it and thought it was an atrocious storyline.
First of all, Joey NEVER really loved Rachel - it was the fascination phase that ended with both of them admitting they were always just friends when they couldn't even cross the line and have sex once! And they never said 'I love you' to each other, to each other's faces, not even once, it was an experiment and a casual crush phase, and it didn't go anywhere.
And it didn't make any sense, exactly because until season 6 when they started interacting more with each other, and later when they started to live together, Joey and Rachel didn't have anything in common, and never had any significant interactions with each other except some basic, vague convos in the Mon's apartment just because they were in one group of friends. It all slowly started to change only in late season 6, so literally after more than half of the show already passed!
This is why their pairing, no matter what their stans say, never made any sense, and it's a classic example of the forced, inorganic, 'wtf' pairing done purely for the rating sake, and for the controversy. And it was all because, by season 8, Friends was really struggling for the first time with the viewership, and putting Joey with Rachel together, when Ross and Rachel were already established for years as iconic star-crossed lovers and on-and-off couple on the show, was going to make big news and drew attention to the show again, and the creators knew it! So to suddenly pair Rachel with Joey was going to stir the pot and bring viewers back, that was what was needed at this point for ratings. The creators themselves talked about it after the reunion.
And all of this only managed to ruin Joey as a friend, it never went anywhere as far as the romance part is concerned. Because we all remember that it all took literally only 3 episodes in season 10 during which it was all resolved, and ended in nothing. Rachel rejected Joey, hitting him every time he tried to start sex, and they were never able to sleep together even once because they realized they were always just friends and didn't desire each other (remember Ross was not the problem anymore, after The One When Ross is Fine, because at the end of The One When Ross is Fine, Ross himself came to terms with Joey and Rachel pairing, and gave Joey his blessings, being an amazing friend, as clearly, Ross never stopped loving Rachel; yet he decided to give them free way to do what they want).
And what is even worse, this storyline never went anywhere as far as Joey's development goes, because Joey was supposed to mature when it comes to romantic relationships after Rachel, and he didn't at all, he literally went back to his old, womanizing habits once he and Rachel ended their experiment. Just two episodes later he is after meaningless dates again.
The only woman Joey loved for real, on Friends, was Kate - the actress.
The woman that Joey worked with in the theatre in season 3. I have never seen Joey so in love with anyone on the show but Kate! In these episodes, the way he described even minor things he did with her or her reactions, was amazing and proved he was truly in love with her. He never described Rachel like this, and he couldn't have sex with Rachel even once, meanwhile, he described sex with Kate as an incredible experience and the first and only time when sex had a meaning for him and wasn't just a one-night stand. And later, on his spin-off show, Joey found the love of his life - he said it himself - that was Alex. And no matter if you like the spin-off or not, this was a show created, produced, and written by the same people who created and have written Friends, so it is the same universe, and it does count.
The creators and the writers should have made Kate and Joey a stable couple for life, or just written someone similar to Kate for Joey, later on the show, instead of writing this Joey-Rachel mess that never went anywhere. Joey and Rachel was a waste of screentime that they could have invested in reuniting Ross and Rachel earlier - after Emma was born when it made the most sense! And Joey should have had someone like Kate, who he truly loved!
No matter what you think, Ross and Rachel always belonged together and were always the end game, they were a classic on-an-off-again couple and their story had all the writing tropes of such couples. Jen and David also had amazing chemistry (rewatch their scene in the planetarium or any scene with them, really, not just lovey-dovey scenes but the fighting scenes too), they always had an insane chemistry.
Meanwhile, Joey was a toxic womanizer who treated all women like broken toys that he threw away after sex and broke up with them via phone or didn't call at all. He is bragging about it over& over again, and other characters from the group talk about it as well. Joey was pure toxic but because this was in the background on the show, not the main storyline, fans ignored it and still do while focusing on one mistake or every single mistake Ross made, yet they give a pass to every single other character on this show, and ALL of them made mistakes!!
@CatoNumbla Um, okay then! You seem to really have analyzed the issue from all possible angles and in depth.
@@CatoNumbla thank you, amen! the actors hated the Joey and Rachel thing, the creators later admitted they hated it too and it was a mistake, and it was never supposed to last, as the creators said.
ross was right here. period.
worst couple ever
@elisaa9981 Joey and Rachel's thing was the worst part of the show that almost ruined it, and would never happen as a serious thing, it didn't make any sense at all. It was a cringeworthy, inorganic, forced storyline just for ratings, literally at the end of the show in season 8, and the creators and the writers said it themselves in various interviews, most recently after the recent reunion.
Joey NEVER really loved Rachel - it was the fascination phase that ended with both of them admitting they were always just friends when they couldn't even cross the line and have sex once!
