Hours after we showed Raymond´s recovery and started searching for a home we received an email... a young girl told me that Raymond was her dog, that his real name was Bruno, and that her stepfather had dumped him months ago and she didn´t know what had become of him. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE STORY...

I try not to be jealous of the new family she had after she divorced my Dad.
Karma is sometimes pretty intense.
I have forgiven her as best as I can, but I haven't forgotten.
Especially one beautiful dog I had that I fought so hard to keep safe. Boarding her at a friend's house out in the country.
My step mom found out and took her to the pound several towns away.
That hurt a lot. I was providing everything for my dog, and 6 months later I was kicked out of the house.
If timing had been different, the dog would have left when I did.
I miss my animals so much that I have lost over the years.
And last year I lost my Dad who was one of my very best friends.
I hold it close to my heart that I will see my loved ones on the other side someday.

What you said has been in my mind since I read it a week ago. It is so true. My ex was extremely abusive. He would delete my conversations with my kids and always said that God had no use for me since he had little use for me except as a glorified slave. But I would always wake up at dawn and pray in tongues and feel such love from my heavenly father. Then he started beating me when I come back to bed at 5:00am for spending a couple of hours praying in the next room. After two miscarriages, he said I should find a co-wife, that's when I knew I had to leave. His pastor friends agreed with him and said I should sit at the back of the church, since a new wife would soon be found and introduced to the church at large. She would sit in front with my husband who is also a pastor. The best thing to do when you are being abused is to leave sooner rather than later. Abusive men are not normal men, they are predators without fur. Leslie Vernick's videos helped me understand the difference between a destructive and a difficult marriage and helped me to stay resolved to leave and to stay gone once I left. After I left my ex came asking me to come back. I thank God I never went back. He just missed his slave, cook and worker and above he missed having someone to blame for everything under heaven. I told him freedom is sweet and I prefer to be free now.

I had the very brief chance to be a stepmother, but my husband's ex-wife and the young lady's first stepmother did a lot of damage that I pay the price for. Being a parent, by birth, by adoption or by marriage is an honour, not a burden. Sadly, there are parents and step-parents who are not worthy of the honour - but not all of us.

MiekoNeko Yeah they said that in the video. She’s a student, doesn’t have the money to move out anywhere and take him, she’s stuck with that monster of a stepfather for awhile in a country that doesn’t care about animal cruelty or prosecute those who harm animals.
It’s sad but at least she got to visit and physically know he was safe, and if you think about it- if she hadn’t taken him in the first place, he wouldn’t be getting the absolute best life possible now.

Ugh this is bittersweet. My ex husband tried to give away my mastiff to spite me. We shared her after we split up but she was more my dog. I was trying to be nice and share her. The night he threatened to give her away, I went, picked her up, and told him to f*ck off. She was such a gentle giant, miss her.

When I had to move back in with my folks after a bad relationship, the deal was that I had to rehome my 1 year old dog, which wasn't suppose to be mine but my ex bf abandoned her. They were giving me a month to find her a new home. I was working nights and woke up to go to work and found my 40lbs (at the time, now 70lbs) dog sitting in my step dad's recliner with him watching TV with him. Yeah, she just celebrated her 10th birthday with me! At least they were willing to give me time to find her a good home, but, in the end, they too fell in love with her. She still thinks my stepdad is the greatest human ever and is her protector, and my parents would do anything for her. I am so glad my parents could never be so cold and just dump a dog like that.

I don't think I heard anything about physical abuse. All the father did was dump the dog somewhere. If he really doesn't want to keep the dog, there's nothing that can be done. The step-daughter is the one who insisted on keeping the dog. The father said no and waited for weeks and weeks for the daughter to get rid of the dog until he ran out of patience and took the dog while she was sleeping and dumped it. Honestly if he didn't give a crap he would have taken the dog right in front of her right at the beginning and dumped the dog. I think the fact that it took so long for him to act, to do so under the cover of darkness and probably made up a story about the dog running away meant that he did care about her feelings....except not enough to keep the dog. And if he really didn't give a crap in some places he would take the dog out and shoot it in front of you for defying him.

She lost her best friend because she knew the truth, but it's the man who will suffer for life in so many ways for what she's done. Can't get any lower than calling someone a pedophile when they're not.
I suspect a number of ppl have been labelled pedophiles when they're not. I myself know if 2 cases, inc why I know they're innocent. I also know of at least 1 pedophile who is still walking around freely (the victims are too scared to make a formal statement to the police, & one is now too mentally unwell due to the trauma to communicate well). I can’t imagine the pain this dog went through after being abandoned twice. I also can only imagine the pain the girl went through with the worry and hate she must feel for the devil she’s forced to live with. Oh my God that poor girl - I cried with her. You can see she desperately loves her dog and can't take him. It is heartbreaking. It would be wonderful of someone close to where she lives would adopt him and allow her to visit often!

This story and song are so fitting. Some of us are all alone in the world and all we have are our pets to care for and comfort us. They provide us with the unconditional love that make us whole again and in turn make it possible for us to give of ourselves to comfort someone else. All the while these living, curing animals have their own tragedies they are enduring themselves but, no one they can talk to, to tell their own stories. Viktor, keep on doing what you do. It's important work for us all on the planet whether some of us realize it or not! Love and peace.

I feel for that girl. I hope she knows she was maybe meant to be an angel to guide Raymond to his forever home --since she couldn't keep him herself. She saved his life and should be proud to have given him the care and love he needed. She was his guardian angel.

It breakes my heart to see the girl and Bruno together with so much love and that they cannot stay together because of her terrible monster stepfather. For her it's so difficult if I imagine myself in her situation makes me cry. I hope Bruno will find a good loving home near her and that she still can visit him or that the new owner stay much in contact with her for the rest of Bruno's life. For her it is also a trauma when you love your furry friend so much and are not cappable to keep him. I sent much love to her and Bruno.
Let's pray that whoever adopts Bruno will get to maintain communication with his original owner (the girl) and allow them to have play dates ^____________^

Life is a drama. This young lady has gone through hell like Raymond (Bruno). She will now look into the eyes of the stepfather with anger, grief and helplessness. But she knows, her Bruno is now healthy and happy. The love for Bruno will always accompany her in the further life. A moment she never forget.

This reminds me of my own childhood. I would bring animals home, and my father would take them to the pound. He did not want me to have any joy. I think as soon as that girl can get out of that house, the better for her well being and self esteem.

She was not in a place in her life to care properly for him. I don't doubt her love... I'm just meaning that it all worked out for the best this way. Now, the girl can concentrate on her life, and hopefully move up and away from her current situation.

there are these kinds of monsters everywhere. my birthgiver can’t hear my dog bark and tried twice to punch them so you can have a notion. thankfully it has been with me now so it won’t be much of a problem and i plan to go NC . thing is outside the house these monsters would put a smile and fake their nicety when they’re really just monsters behind doors.

Police, not the white house, lol. State government saved dog. Police aren't federal. Their orders come from their counties.
Ash Ketchum' White House is Victor’s House. It has nothing to do with USA. Victor is in Spain, and police found the dog in garbage and brought him to Victor and now he is out of veterinary hospital and is in Victor’s White House until he is adopted.
