I’ve used Gilmore hoses before! They are great! This 74 yr old Great Grandma needs the Medium size 3/4” hose since it’s the lightest! Still gardening and Love your videos. Never too old to learn something new!
Hey Great Grandma, the medium size hose is 5/8". 1/2"-small & 3/4"-large but all have 3/4" fittings.

I know you were probably asked a million times, but would be very interesting to see a tour of your irrigation system as well as how you maintain it throughout the year, how you prepare it for winter and so on.
5/8 super Duty. My yard is all gravel and the AZ heat. I have Gilmour now but made the mistake of buying a 50' a few years back and the sun has finally taken its toll on the hose. You always make great videos. Thank you!

Hi Laura, great video, as always. I have been using Gilmour products for a couple of years and am very impressed with the design, quality and price point. Gilmour’s thoughtful attention to detail is much appreciated. I have their lawn sprinklers and hose nozzles but have not tried the hoses.

I would want a medium hose because I'm getting a little older and things are getting heavier to move around. Color doesn't matter.

Good information. I hate my hose now, it is so heavy. I just use it across grass. So my ideal hose should be Medium duty 1/2 inch.

Heavy duty for us, 3/4. I have to hand water and pull hose across 70+ feet and gravel to reach some beds as we don't have irrigation system. Guess, I am the irrigation system, lol! Thanks again.

I genuinely don't know which would be best for my yard. We just bought our house last winter, and are slowly updating all the landscaping and adding drip. I'd probably go for 5/8" Superduty.

Love your videos. The hoses on the sunny side of our house have to be replaced fairly frequently. This video was quite helpful. I would think switching to super duty 5/8 inch would be best.
I so appreciate this video. While it may be common sense for many people on the topics you covered, I like to do my research before buying anything and you explained things I had questions about.
It makes choosing the right hose a lot less overwhelming when I’m in the store aisle with so many options. I have a tendency to buy more than I need. I realize I could do well with just a medium or heavy duty hose and the 5/8” diameter suits my purpose fine.
