I was at the Hamburg show 3 weeks earlier and the crowd in the standing area looked the same, despite the standing tickets being sold-out. I am guessing it's due to safety measures.
I was there, I can definitely tell you it did not feel empty. I could barely move in the standing area and wherever I looked there were people (with the exception of some seats being empty)
With a regular stage the back half of the venue looks empty because people gather towards the stage. This is the same but in a circle. Regular shows tend to look more massive though.

Definitely doesn’t look empty. The front of the stage gets crowded making the back more empty.
