      Absolutely! It works for sure and I keep all my knives razor sharp from high carbon plain carbon steel to stainless steel no matter the carbon content! The more carbon the longer your blades secondary edge retention lasts but an M9 bayonet can get razor sharp!

      Its a Phrobis, but you can sharpen almost any combat knife with this technique I do in the video especially if its a stainless steel but I have also use this approach with high carbon combat knives as well.
