2024 Children's Water Festival

Hundreds of local 4th and 5th graders gathered at UCCS for the Pikes Peak Children’s Water Festival, a collaborative event between our organization, the City of Colordado Springs, Harrison School District 2, Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8, The Colorado Springs School District 11, Academy District 20 and other community partners.
This educational program is geared to introduce students to the complex water issues facing our community and help foster an appreciation of one of our most precious resources.

These children would be shocked to know how little is being done by Colorado Springs Utilities to protect their water. 975 N Academy Blvd The Citadel Crossings is still hemorrhaging water at a incredible rate even after being reported several times over a month ago. Sorry kids but the more water that is wasted the more money Colorado Springs Utilities makes so no point in fixing problems that make them money. Children shouldn't be lied to.
