A 22 lr dead center is far more useful than a 500 nitro miss. There's a message here.

Amazing how different types of wood can resist penetration much better than others. Pine is probably the softest and easiest to penetrate (not counting balsa wood 😬). Laminated plywood is really tough too.

Nice quick compare. I really love the little " If being shot at, pick ASH to stand behind ! " at the bottom of the closing screen...lmao. If that .22 Mag round almost made it through that 1 inch Ash, a breast bone, ribs or skull bone has very little chance of stopping it.

380 is my chosen carry round because it won’t kill people standing behind the criminal

I notice that, after letting us know that he was using a Heritage Arms Rough Rider to fire the 22LR and 22WMR rounds, he skipped over identifying the guns firing the 380 ACP, and 9MM... they're Hi-Points! LOL. You proved that Rough Rider, Single Action revolvers are more accurate than Hi-Points!

Looks like a good and fair test between the 4. Nicely done. 👍

Many underestimate the 22L. that caliber used to feed many families back in the day with the old model 67 riffle that fired three different 22 cartridges. great all purpose round when you hit where you aim

A very rare test. I was looking for something like that for a very long time. Thanks a lot.

Thank you, sir! You happened to test the four calibers I most wanted to see compared. I read your responses to Husker Bowden and was pleased to see that you responded to his comments with maturity and humility. That’s not always the case on CZcams. I will be subscribing and look forward to watching more of your videos. God bless.

Loved the video and your setup for the boards. They may give and absorb some of the energy but still really interesting!

Very good video. You prevaled desptie the elements. The .22 mag held its own with the .380, so I willI go in that direction. Many thanks for your effort. Interesting board holder...

I looked at the reaction of the boards as being shot and the 22 long seemed to give the board the greatest reaction.

Ash is a pretty dense hardwood. Thanks for the video. Keep safe.
