This is one of the deepest movies I ever watched, shed many tears. I could see so many families in this movie and how our parents contribute to unhealthy rivalry among siblings. The part that got me was the part where the therapist talked about the Elephant story, where people see things from a different perspective depending on where they stand. This movie will surely resonate with so many families and I like the idea of undergoing therapy to heal. which is one thing Nigerians are still yet to come to terms with, that actually speaking to someone helps a lot, I also learned that people show love in different ways that are also unhealthy and misinterpreted. finally, Stephenie Bassey deserves her flowers, she killed her role and made me shed some tears.
This is not the first time I'm watching a movie from Ruth Kadiri's production but as matter of fact Mama Ruth is doing a fantastic job...... She really need to be celebrated♥️

This is one of Ruth's movie that really made me cry. It was just like I was watching what i am going through in life as a movie though with different stories but similar pain and rejection from family. Being reminded at every slightest opportunity of how much of a failure I am. I cried more towards the end when the father apologized.... As much as this is a movie, i am just imagining all the crazy decisions i might take, just to get my parents love and validation back.... Just to hear i am sorry at the end of the day and then i will forever deal with consequences of the decisions i took out of pains and depression. They forget that saying sorry doesn't mean the scars will be healed immediately. No matter the amount of mistake done by a child, the family should never turn their back on their own. It should be i and them against the world and not the reverse. A big shout to you Ruth.... I have always been a big fan of your movies. Keep up the good work.

This is one of Ruth's movie that really made me cry. It was just like I was watching what i am going through in life as a movie though with different stories but similar pain and rejection from family. Being reminded at every slightest opportunity of how much of a failure I am. I cried more towards the end when the father apologized.... As much as this is a movie, i am just imagining all the crazy decisions i might take, just to get my parents love and validation back.... Just to hear i am sorry at the end of the day and then i will forever deal with consequences of the decisions i took out of pains and depression. They forget that saying sorry doesn't mean the scars will be healed immediately.
No matter the amount of mistake done by a child, the family should never turn their back on their own. It should be i and them against the world and not the reverse.
