All the President's Men Oner (Long Take)

  • The Oner trope as used in popular culture. Called a "long take", this is one very long, uninterrupted camera shot. Long takes accomplish the work of several individual shots but in one, continuous, unbroken take.
    All the President's Men (1976) - "The Washington Post" reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein uncover the details of the Watergate scandal that leads to President Richard Nixon's resignation.

      He was to be respected too. Unlike today, he just wanted to break the story about Watergate. It wasn't his intention to embarrass anyone not directly connected with the matter or ruin their lives.
