@galatasarayli11 As fun as it is to think of it that way, considering how the English have historically treated everyone, the reality was very different. Both Confederate and Union soldiers and officers were heavily Anglo-Celtic, however the Union would have had more, of course, African Americans, as well as West Slavic (Polish, Czech, Slovak), Mediterranean, Nordic, and even Semitic influence due to generally higher ethnic diversity in northern states. However, you may be surprised to find out that most Native American tribes that decided to get involved chose to serve in the Confederate military. The C.S.A was a newly formed government that had a fighting chance at pushing back the Union, which had an infamous history of atrocities against their various tribes. I imagine, though I'm not sure, that the C.S.A may have offered them some land back in exchange for their service. Of course, there's little chance they would have kept such a promise. However, the Native Americans held such animosity towards the Federal Government that they were willing to help the Confederates crush them.
