A friend of mine pointed me to dr. Stanley 6/7 years ago. She is a Korean, Adventist and professor at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. I was struggling with recovery from a four level back surgery. We popped a text messages back and forth as I discussed my problems of recovery etc. one day she gave me Dr. Stanley information and said, “I listen to him every day. Yes, before you ask but you’re Adventist. I am but this gift from GOD is a square shooter”. I about fell over but took her advice. I was raised Methodist but, like many, wandered away. I took her advice and have been blessed beyond description. I added in two other gifts from GOD, in my opinion - dr. John macarther and dr. Charles Lawson. My back healed exactly as the surgeon said would. I have modest pain and am fused from S1 up to L2 and am stiff like I was told I would be in this case. The change in me was almost instant. My wife is elated and that is a miracle, ha. Good luck to anyone reading this rather too long comment. Blessings to all.

I always thank God for another day and I always pray before going to work or somewhere and we never know what can happen just like the people in the World Trade Center or just crossing the street etc.

Yes it is...I've been a Christian for awhile and then raised as a Catholic. However, praying for the dead like a lot of people would say in the Catholic church is pointless. Reason is because once you die, it's over...for them to say those things is also saying that Jesus didn't take care of every sin. He took care of every sin and once you trust Jesus as your Savior, each one is taken care of once and for all...there is no in-between zone. Heaven is here once you die with Jesus.

Charles Stanley is absolutely right. Death is going to come. The question we need to ask ourselves is when I die am I going to meet Jesus in heaven or I'm going to hell. We all need to get ready to meet Jesus in heaven. We all need to repent of our sins confess our sins and give our life to Jesus Christ. Me personally I believe the end is near. How near I cannot say. I believe we are near the second coming of Jesus Christ. How near I cannot say on that either.

There are many books that have the power to transform lives. A book about buddhist spirituality, a book that empowers feminism, a book about the fabric of space and time, a history book which can shed light on the origin of current events... Since they can also readily influence peoples lives, this is surely not a criterium for establishing non-human origin.
There is truly only one way to God, and that is through His son, Jesus. No amount of self help books written by men will get you there.

True faith in Jesus Christ is trusting that He paid for all your sins with His blood on the cross, was buried, and was resurrected on the third day. If you think you must bear fruit to be saved, or you think that true faith includes bearing fruit then you are absolutely lost and have frustrated the grace of God. Bearing fruit is evidence that you are walking with God in His Spirit. Even at that, bearing fruit doesn't assure you of your salvation.

I feel so sorry for unbelievers. At times they make me mad because they spit upon and insult our precious Lord and hold His people in such contempt. However we Believers were once like they were in our un-Saved state. It breaks my heart to realize that the path to Eternal Destruction is so wide and the path to Eternal Life so narrow. WHY does it have to be that way. WHY cannot more people be Saved?
Yeah, I feel so sorry for people like Aron Ra, who not only don't believe they actively seek to destroy christanity dragging countless people away from the cross.

No someone else killed me that year. I was living with an old woman who kept saying " I thought you were not coming back". Then on my Facebook page I kept getting threatened. Come clean or die!, Was posted than there was a post that said " sorry little brother but you have to die". Plus many other people posting threats to me and degrading me and my mother all the time. So now I live in Nashville Tennessee and still waiting for answers to who killed me!!!???... I lived in Gasdsen Alabama and trusville Alabama and Birmingham Alabama. I'm originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin and lived there before I left in 2018 for Alabama!

It is borderline blasphemous to imply that the Holy Spirit living in you will have no effect on your life.
It's amazing just how many people believe the reason Jesus came to earth was to save them from God...that's correct, FROM GOD!
Of course, they don't normally put it that way! Usually, they say, "Jesus came to save us from going to Hell." But any deep dive into their beliefs usually results in their confessing God is almighty and, therefore, is in charge of everything that happens--God, they believe, is the direct cause of all things that occur or, at a minimum, he permits all things to happen that he does not directly cause, all the while he has the power to intervene, but chooses not to!
So, if there is a Hell and, let's say, there is such a thing as people "choosing" to go there (which is, by the way, ludicrous on its face) surely a good God would, at least, turn the flames of Hell off! Or a good God would, at least, make it so the bodies of those who leap into the Lake of Fire of their own free choice (again, ludicrous) are able to die, as they would when a person on earth is burned to death, reducing their time of suffering to only a minute or two at the most, horrific as that would be!
Interestingly, Jesus himself was faced with a situation (in Luke 9:51-56) where his own disciples wanted God to burn an entire village of people to death for some infraction one of their hotel keepers made, and Jesus rebuked them, telling them their idea had been spawned by the devil himself!
So, if Jesus thought the idea of burning people alive for just a few horrific minutes was devil-inspired, imagine what he would say to anyone today who is suggesting God plans to burn people alive for eternity!

Without Christ we can bear no fruit. Christ is the vine and we are the branches. The only way we can bear good fruit is if we are living in the Spirit and we confessed our sins using 1 John 1:9. If you didn't confess your sins, you are still in your flesh state, until you confess and then God cleanses you of all unrighteousness. Salvation is strictly separate from works or bearing fruit or following Christ, and even hinting they relate to one another is a sin and blasphemy.
Just like I found this in 2022, I suppose some others will too, so let me answer the question : Are you ready to die ? No, I kind of like it here, but taking into account my advance age and poor health, I know it might be around the corner, but as a non believer I have never been afraid of it, except for the process, I hope is not a long and painful one, aside from that, as Mark Twain once said:
" I have been dead for billions of years before I was born, and in all that time I had not suffered any inconvenience, so it will be after death. "
But assuming he as well as I are wrong, and some kind of God does exist, not in any way the God of the Bible, that sociopath mass murderer can not be true.
But what, if before I knew it, I am facing the real God, who ask me why I did not believe in God and why should I be admitted into his mansion; well, my answer would be : I did not believe because no one had ever presented any real evidence for the existence of any God; but, I would argue, during my life on earth I have always tried to be the best Human Being I could possibly be, truthful, honest, decent, never doing intentionally any harm to any fellow Human being ; and I firmly believe that should please him to no end, and should suffix for me to be admitted. I think I would be.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I can understand why you do though. We were all born as sinners separated from God. I too have lived a life of trying to treat others as I would like to be treated. But that doesn't make me holy. I have sinned and I know it. I have done things selfishly before, I have lusted after a beautiful girl before, I have seen something nice that someone had and coveted it for myself, etc. I'm human and cannot help myself because that is human nature and it's sin. No matter how perfect of a life we think we live, we fail at times. And for this we need Jesus to save us and make us truly holy and righteous. Jesus lived the only perfect sinless life and was a sacrifice for all of us if we confess our sins to Him and ask for forgiveness. If we recognize our hopelessness in ourselves of achieving righteousness and put our trust in His sacrifice and truly give our lives to Him and follow him by turning from our own strength to His, we will be saved and have eternal life in heaven. I pray the God will open your eyes to see things as He sees them and to give you true understanding.

How do you prepare to die ? No one can prepare himself for death. That was done by God Himself for His children in the Person of His Only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who represented them at the cross (Gal. 2:20). After the cross, those for whom the blood was shed were already ALL redeemed in Christ and in His own time, everyone of them will be regenerated and the work of redemption applied to them AT THAT POINT.
The Father foreknew each and everyone of them and had mercy on them, The Spirit sanctified them, and Christ as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world redeemed them with the sprinkled blood of atonement, and all these happened in eternity (1 Peter 1:2). None of God''s elect, whoever, and where or whenever they existed in this plane we call time, will be lost, everyone of them, AND ONLY THEY, will enter the kingdom of heaven in The Heaven prepared for them (Genesis 1:1).

Heaven and eternal salvation can only be entered and attained thru the shed blood of Christ, and by grace.
Now, entry into the kingdom of God on earth, is another thing.
It is in this kingdom of God here in time where repentance, faith, obedience and all those things preached by pop gospel to be necessary to eternal salvation are conditions if one is to experience eternity here in time.

I am not ok with "once saved, always saved" because once you are saved, you are still a potential sinner temped strongly by the devil. Some Christians I know, gave their life to god but took back their previous life which was nailed on Jesus' cross but everything else preached was alright. Every time you listen someone preaching, read in the word of god in order to get it right. As Christians, we received the holy spirit, which we have so he can teach us. No matter how much evidence there is that there is a God, most atheists don't believe in God because they don't want to be held accountable to him one day. They are calling the shots here and nobody's going to tell them how to live their life. No God means that there is no right and wrong and there is no absolute truth. So relax and do whatever you want because there is no moral law. But for me, I have a personable relationship with Jesus Christ and I have no fear of death whatsoever.

Sounds like your trusting in your works. The only way you get a wedding garment or do "the will of the Father" is that you believe that the Son of God Jesus Christ died for all your sins, buried, and rose again on the third day. Matthew 7:21-23 does not condemn a christian, it condemns people who heard of the Lord but haven't put their complete faith on Christ. Instead they trust their works instead. Works come after salvation, not for salvation.
One of the "deaths" mentioned by the good doctor here is eternal separation from God. What nonsense! How could you ever be separate from God? If you believe it possible then what does that say about God? How could you possibly believe in a loving God that would ever allow separation from Him? At the root of these teachings is fear, not love, and fear is not of God
