6 months ago I was feeling so overwhelmed pregnant with an almost failed marriage. On the last Sunday night of February I’ve had enough and as I was praying, I felt God telling me to go to the scriptures Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
I told God “let your will be done Lord”. And I went to sleep. I woke up that Monday morning to the news that my dad had passed away. February 27th. Until this day 6 months later I still cannot believe he’s no longer here, but during this grieving period every time I ask myself why, I have to go to that passage. Even though it hurts I have to understand God’s will.

The only way to know God’s will for your life is to be constantly in His presence- and as Dr. Stanley said: we should be asking Him about everything because that is how you come into true obedience. Forget about what the world wants from you or what it wants you to do. If it doesn’t match God’s character or patient and calm demeanour then you know it’s a decision made from the flesh 🙏🏻

You won't be able to change it, no matter how many times you pray about it. So what I do these days in prayer is this: "Lord, your mind is already made up, so I won't even bother asking you for anything. So, amen." Either that, or I simply say, "Lord, amen."

The world needs to be warned of what it says in Reverlation 14:6-7 and give glory to God who created the Earth and rested on the Seventh-Day Sabbath before there was a Jewish nation. God who did not need to rest, establish this day as holy and it was also the day that Jesus kept holy, He said he was the Lord of the Sabbath, how much more do we need to worship the true God on this day. We are not saved by keeping His commandments, we are saved by grace alone, but this is the day of rest that was established in the first week of this planet.

Three years ago I left a full-time position with great benefits to start my own business. People most likely thought I was crazy but what they didn’t realize is that I felt very peaceful. I can’t explain it but I held on to my belief in Jesus, and kept the faith in our Father. He said Don’t Be Afraid For I Am With You Isaiah 41:10. I was not at all afraid, my kids and I did not go hungry nor we had anything bad to us. I kept my faith and kept chugging working towards building my business. On Valentines Day, Jesus willed that my Home Health Agency passed Medicare Accreditation. I cried when I listen to this teaching. Thank you Jesus and I praise you and put you ahead of everything that I do. Your will is my path, and I pray for all that they receive you in their hearts and see the beauty of your blessings. I also pray that you continue to bless me so I can pray with eloquence and share the word of God. lastly, I am not perfect, I am full of sin, yet just call my name lord Jesus, and I know I am saved. “Is this decision a part of God’s word?”
“Is it a wise decision?”
What are the consequences?
“The will of God has consequences that last a life time. As do your choices.”
“Do I have genuine peace?”
Is this the right timing?
“Is this consistent with what is consistent with the will/word of God?”
“Does this action fit who I am as a follower of Jesus Christ?”
“Does this act fit the overall plan for my life?”
“Does the atmosphere fit who I claim to be or who I am?”
If I’m walking in the will of God, things will fit who I am or claim to be. There are *no* inconsistencies in the will of God.
Do my actions and conduct fit who I claim to be?
“Is this decision in line with the word of God?”
“Any decision that keeps you awake at night must result in you asking yourself, why?”
“Will I regret this decision for the rest of my life?”
“Can God reward you for making this decision?”

When you pray, listen to G'd, his gently whispers and nudges. Nothing like it and so reassuring that He is with me. I like that, I love that, it makes me feel joy, contentment and in His purposes. The opposite, well, it's lonely there. In Christ, I'm not alone. So I encourage believers to walk and talk with G'd about everything, it makes a difference.
