Well, I have had times in my life when scratching up $50 - 60 would have been very difficult if not impossible. And you would not have known it just looking at me. Perhaps it would have been a hardship to one or more if her attendants. Paying for shoes to go w your dress is perhaps not the same as buying "props" to fit a theme. One needs to be very careful spending anothers money.

Since the bride bought the dresses, a few additional things that would go with the outfit are not too much ask. If you can't afford to be a bridemaid, you should decline, unless you have spoke to the bride, and she's okay with footing all the bill for you.

And calling my husband to be because you KNOW he likes wasting money... That would've gotten her and anyone who agreed kicked out of the wedding. I normally buy my own dresses, and my own stuff because the bride 👰♀️ is already spending so much, and after that they have the honey moon then the months after to financially recover. Idk why this is not something normal?

Yep, Hubby and I are very enthusiastic about our distractions, so much so that we plan around them... and that's just it, at that moment ol'boy should have had no distractions atm. Nothin' should have been on his mind but her. Totes shit losin' worthy.

Haha, mine would have the opposite effect. I'm the huge sports fanatic. He watches football with me in support of me. However, I would record the game, not take sneak peaks, then leave my groom. Marriage is a partnership send compromise, communication, and thinking of each other's feelings and respect. That wouldn't even cross my mind. Our wedding day, is the most important day of my life. Although I've been married to my cowboys since 1982 and counting. That's just insane! Not a good start for the couple.

And the groom’s secretive spending, watching the hockey game during the wedding, etc. are huge red flags. A relationship without honesty won’t last long. And if he values a hockey game more than spending time with his bride on his wedding day, this guy clearly isn’t ready for marriage.

I applaud the bride for having a good vision for bringing nature into her venue so that she saves cost; I applaud her for making a donation to charity instead of spending outrageous money on gifts to people who most likely will never wear it or use it and that’s a fact; and I applaud her for not giving up on her vision of the wedding dress & having someone else finishing it so she could have the dress she had always dreamed of, (although it’s too bad the first dressmaker didn’t give back some of her money no more than she did); I applaud her for sticking to her budget as well as she did and keeping cost down especially when she was catering to such a large crowd and she had great original ideas to accomplish that feat along with the wedding planner❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
I truly feel bad for a bride who has a husband who brings a TV to a wedding. I’m going to tell you right now you’re in big trouble in your marriage because I was married to one of those sports rooms and IT DIES NOT GET ANY BETTER; ONLY WORSE!!! In fact, for me, 45 years later the only thing programmed on the TV was just sports day and night. I was miserable and unhappy, very unhappy and we never ever did anything except what he wanted until he died. The last two nights before he died of course he apologized and asked for forgiveness but then it’s too late. Last I loved the theme of roaring 20s and I think the bridesmaids dresses were beautiful as well as the bride‘s dress and I love decision that this bride had. By the way having cakes with multiple flavors is always a great idea. My Daughter had a five-layered cake & each layer was a different flavor and it was worth every penny.

Mike, sweetheart, let me explain to you. Let me explain why you should not SPEND your money. Eventually you're going to want[, or NEED, to retire, and you're going to need at least half a million at a bare minimum, to a million dollars for retirement. Hopefully you won't HAVE to retire with cancer or another debilitating disease. Often people have to retire early, and as a police officer you should know that. Be wise and save for your retirement.

I am all for donating to charities but I just don't see how the couple donating to a charity as a favor for their guests. I see a lot of people on this show do this and I just don't get it. I have seen people do in lieu of a gift please donate to xyz charity and that makes sense to me and is an amazing thing to do, but the couple donating to a charity as the guest favors doesn't make sense to me at all.
