Frodo is a Hobbit, I know. :/
Tbh, I was actually surprised that nobody had done this. lol. Maybe it's because there are only a few Frodo vids in here?? idk. so here folks!! enjoy. :)
I've dismissed this idea a lot, but I'd seen a video that inspired me to do this. Here ^^:

I can't edit anything else that isn't about Frodo xhsnsgauqbauga lmao. His character is so different from any other characters in any fandom- his story is so tragic and inspiring at the same time, that I just can't stop loving him. He's the only character that I could relate to. It makes me sad that a lot of people hates him, though.
Frodo belongs to a different race, but, just like a human, he has his own emotions. He has his own troubles and problems, and, just like us, he has a burden to carry. We've seen these heroes like James Bond and Indiana Jones, but they aren't the heroes that I could really connect to, nor could I treat them as an inspiration, unlike Frodo. They're action heroes- masculine, skillful, confident. Frodo is merely a hero that surrenders to his fate and tries to not waver under his burden- he is a hero filled with doubt, has his own weaknesses, but still tries to be strong, just like us.
But what makes Frodo rare? He isn't an action hero. He isn't like "Hey! Let's solve a problem by using violence!" and instead he refrains from hurting anyone, and treated Gollum with mercy, when clearly Sam told him a thousand times that he's clearly a villain. He didn't kill. He didn't harm. Yet, the entirety of Arda was saved just because of his Mercy. And that's super amazing.
"Human" seems so fitting for him. As the Ring-Bearer, readers/viewers expect him to transform from a naïve yet wise person to a stoic and strong hero, but he isn't anything like that. Throughout the Quest, he still kept his personality- he's still him. Forgiving, kind, and wise. Even though the Ring wears him down, and literally drags him to the ground, he kept going. He's trying to be strong for everyone even though it might've been easier to just lay there and listen to the Ring and give up. He didn't. He's strong.
But just because he is strong to resist the Ring a lot of times, it doesn't mean that he's already a mighty being. He still bled, wept, and fell. Did he stop? Nope.
Like, don't get me wrong- I really adore Sam as well, his strength and loyalty doesn't match anyone else, but Frodo is just... something else. For someone who had read and watched the trilogy multiple times, I still can't get tired of admiring Frodo. He just doesn't stop. He just doesn't give up. And most of all, he still protected Sam, his dearest friend, when he can. He might've snapped at him, they might've disagreed sometimes with each other (in the movies, tho, it kinda seemed like they disagreed with each other's actions more often than in the books), and all those things, but he still loves him.
+ He gave everything. Nobody asked him to sacrifice his own life, body, soul, and mind, but he did. :)
And there are so many other reasons as to why I love him. But this is already a long description. lmao.

Frodo Baggins is my favorite character. He continued to keep going even though he knew it would destroy him. He sacrificed his life to carry the burden to save Middle earth. That’s the most courageous and bravest of all. I do wish others would see it that way as well. I love the video great job.

I also love Frodo, he is very adorable and also very strong and brave, he was able to withstand the power of the ring and he is also noble and good hearted since he had compassion for Gollum and always treated him well, that's why I love Frodo he's such a hero and very lovable little hobbit, Frodo and Gollum are my favorite characters
I so agree with you. People tend to hate Frodo thinking he´s weak, but clearly, they haven´t understood how important he is for the LOTR story and destroying the ring. I love him and I share his charge. More videos about Frodo should be edited, congrats
I guess people hate on Frodo because, well, Frodo is gentle and self-sacrificing and kind, and those who had these personalities are often seen as weak- if you prefer to solve a problem without violence involved, you're a coward; if you're kind and gentle, then you aren't going to be considered strong.

Like, yes, Sam is one of my favorite characters and is very lovable, but saying that he is “the” hero just completely dismisses all the pain that Frodo went through. Yeah, Frodo wouldn’t have succeeded without Sam, but Sam wouldn’t have succeeded without Frodo either.

Ironically enough, Tolkien confronted this in the books. When the hobbits return, Merry and Pippin are treated like kings because of their armor and swords from Rohan and Gondor. Sam goes on to become the mayor for his part in rebuilding after the Scouring of the Shire. Frodo, on the other hand, gets weird looks and becomes a recluse. The shire-folk didn't understand the burden he had to carry, or the recurring sickness from Weathertop. This is also part of the reason Frodo decided to sail west, he just didn't feel at home in the Shire after having to walk to Mordor.

aaaah exactly!! Frodo doesn't deserve to suffer like that, yet he chose that path anyway, knowing that he's the only one who could take the burden. He was strong throughout the whole journey, choosing to continue on, even if the chain's already bruising his neck and his steps were already faltering. And he didn't even get any recognition when he returned home! And that's why I love him so much. It's just sad to see the LOTR fandom bash him for being "whiny".

When I was a child I first watched Bakshi's animation film and then read the books. While the animation film has many problems the one thing it does better is showing Frodo as heroic as he is. ( But I love this Frodo too anyway).

This is so beautiful and sad... I always feel sad when I watch the ending of lotr, and then I ask myself why? Why did Frodo leave Sam behind? But in the end I know what the ring did to him... I just wish he had the best "life" in Valinor... Because that's what he deserves...
Fortunately, Tolkien wrote in Appendix B that Frodo actually left Sam knowing that they could reunite, because when Sam’s wife died after a long beautiful life together and their children were grown, Sam left the Red Book with their daughter and sailed to Valinor, as he was granted passage for being a Ring-bearer, so in the end, he and Frodo were together again. It’s ironic how the piece of pure evil that was the Ring ended up being the cause of their reunion (as its carriers) as well as their separation.

Well hobits are well known for bravenest and courage. I really love that Sam stayed with Frodo the whole time even if the ring will take Frodo in the shadow and dark. Gandalf said to him don't leave Frodo alone. He didn't. He actually caried him because he couldn't in his own
I'm reading Return of The King right now and all of the Hobbits are so relatable.
Frodo is my most fav character in lotr.
I feel like human, the adjective, can also be used for Hobbits. Or dwarves or elves for that matter. Usually they say "men" anyway when they mean humans, but that kind of brings its own caveats with it. (As the poor witchking had to find out lol).
So yeah, what I'm saying is, I think the lyrics still apply and the point still works, even with Frodo being a Hobbit.

*fun fact* After Frodo left the Shire Sam became the mayor of the Shire for years, and after Rosie's death he gave the Red book to the Elves and went to Valinor... Just like Frodo... I don't know what happened next, it's not in the book... But I hope they met again, after all those years... And then they just hugged... Omg i'm crying🙂
He actually gave the Red Book to Elanor since she was the last hobbit to see him. ^^
But aaaah thinking about their reunion makes me so happy but at the same time it huuuurts- they had to wait so long until they could see each other again, they must've missed each other so much- ah dammit i'm crying, thank you for reminding me of this 😭

The truth is that I prefer Frodo before Sam, Frodo shows compassion and friendship with Sméagol my favorite character of esdla, Frodo's kindness towards Smeagol touched my heart, I like Smeagol because I don't know, that is, he is very crazy, funny, adorable and for me in fact he was never evil, Frodo was brave, he endured the temptation of the One Ring and what else I liked it, as I already said, it was his mercy and affection towards Gollum
