  • How to add a dreamy Premiere Pro glow effect to any video footage in three easy steps.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a romantic, dreamy glow effect in Premiere Pro 2021. This simple but very flexible effect is perfect for dream sequences or flashbacks. Or just to give your video an ethereal, romantic or fairy tale look.
We’ll show you how to learn how use and fine-tune the Adobe Premiere Pro VR Glow effect to bring out beautiful glowing highlights. Then how to combine that with the Gaussian Blur effect to produce a soft, natural glow. And finally how to really bring it all to life with some simple keyframe animation.
    0:00 Intro
0:25 Dreamy glow effect before-and-after montage
    1:20 Add a high-contrast color grade (optional)
2:02 Step 1: Add the VR Glow effect to bring out the highlights
4:34 Step 2: Soften your glow with the Gaussian Blur effect
6:16 Step 3: Keyframe animate your glow effect

Great Video. You answered several questions I had. I am still using the non-subscription CS2 premiere Pro and Photoshop. Photoshop is a much more powerful program than Premiere Pro 2.0 unless I am missing something. I don't think there is a VR Glow in Premiere Pro 2.0
My work is in DVCam at 720x480, however, if I start working in HD then I might need to start renting the newer programs. I originally bought Premiere Pro 1.5 and when they stopped supporting that they gave me CS2 which has worked so far. I just don't believe in renting software for a monthly price.

Are you getting a "This effect requires GPU acceleration" warning? Cause it should work just fine otherwise.
