ive been searching for this tutorial this was exactly what i wanted!
sick effect and really really well explained
Wow. Most helpful video I’ve run across in a long time! Thank you.
cant stress the importance of this video enough. this is just too good and quick way bro.
Thank you so much for this. I figured this could be an effect done in post. Cheers
Nice thanks dude, I just shot something on a zero budget and desperately wanted something like a pro mist when shooting but we didn’t have the budget.
Great tutorial man, thanks for your efforts!
Such an amazing video, I really love the energy of this video 🙏
yo thank you so much this effect helped out alot
now inspiring filmmakers like me have an option for this. thank you so much bro!
great effect quick & easy thank you.
this was a time saver. Thanks for the video and the preset! subscribed!
Great vid. Works like a charm!
These times lut's and presets and getting more and more expensive ,sir you are an angel.
Thank you so so much!!! It was my first time editing video but this helped me a lot!!❣️🥰👍
WOW! 🙌 Thanks a lot!
Pretty good, thanks man
Dhanyawad Dost 🙏
Best tutorial on bloom effect
awseome! thank you :)
I'd actually prefer to add this effect in post. Allows you to customize it to your liking, or maybe even decide not to use it at all. Can't do that if it's baked into the footage from a filter!
Great tutorial dude! I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Too bad the Luma Key is a tough effect on the computer
Genius 🔥
Great tutorial thank you!
It's great that you gave help poor creater do provide this lut. You own our respect more now.
You are a legend thanks
Thanks for video 👍
you can use an adjustment layer if you dont want to duplicate all your clips. Just use solid composite after the luma key and change the color to black. Then add the the gaussian blur.
Bro can you elaborate the tip please? Cant use the solid composite properly.
@@naveedhasan9098
You create a adjustment layer, add the following effects in this order:
Luma key
Solid Composite
Gaussian Blur
Set Luma Key to 100%/70%
Solid composite to black
Gaussian Blur to your liking
Then set the adjustment layer to Screen
The key is to create a mask ( luma mask ) with luma key and solid composite. Then everything that is black will not get blurred with the blending mode screen
@@Medienmechaniker thank you bro you helpped hated doing on clip at a time
great one!
Thank you for preset ❤
Thanks brother
Thanks!
Really great!
thx mr camilo
you are the best❤
I always use vintage lenses in combination with Cokin Pastel mist filter. Total cost 20€. And it's absolutely worth every cent. The lens costed 20€ and a pack of vintage filters for free. I like it more to get the most effects and character straight from camera. Just looks nicer
Very good friend, really a good way out for those with little money, thanks for the tip!
love from india brother good information ....☺
thanks man!
nice one. just ordered a couple 1/8's from K&F for just under €40 for both incl shipping, but they're the nano-k not nano-x. not entirely sure of the diff, but they seem to rate pretty well. waiting on those to arrive so gonna give this a go for a current project (my first actually). tbh i feel like i'll prob end up using this technique over the filters more often than not. with this level of control, it's like why even bother with the hardware. love your videos and channel. thanks!
Thanks Sir
ikr!
appreciate it mate
YOU ARE THE GOAT
Please please make the same tutorial with Sharpness of the black or and the highlight areas
this helped soooooo much. liked and subscribed, wish I could do more
nice bruh
thank you🤍🤍🤍
Great video
perfect
this is absolutely the right thing to do, shooting video with an effects filter is very risky
thanks brooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yo this is sick, I was actually about to go and drop £200 on a pro mist but ima try this first! Nice one homie
Same here bro, then I messed about with this and now I’m thinking I’m gonna save 😂 it does add a bit to your editing workflow though !
I love my pro mist filter, and used to do this myself before I got it. Love your content, subscribed! Please keep creating content good sir :)
Thanks vincent! I'll do my best ;) I was thinking of comparing the two to see if the difference was noticeable...
Cool bro
quick tip , just put luma key first and disable the fist layer , then move threshold in way it only effects highlights then drop in gaussian blur and the enable the first layer then change the settings to ur liking
Amazing work, bro. Thanks for this! High five from Manila, Philippines.
I was just looking at the Freewell 1/4 filters and thought this is something you should be able to do in post then searched and found your vid, great work 💪 1 question can I make I default with template with, mist, black bars, color and exposure Ajay built into it so I can just dump the images and begin adjusting?
Yeah i think if you were to combine this + crop + lumeri, select all then create a preset, then you can add that to all your footage
Thanks man, do I have to do anything else or just drag the preset?
🔥🔥🔥
I really appreciate your time and effort God bless you and your family 💞 more win
This is amazing do you have one for FCP as well :O??
Best settings for this is (in 4k)
Blending mode: Lighten
Opacity: 60%
Luma Key : 80% Threshold 60% Cutoff
Gaussian Blur : 150%
Thank me later
is it possible to fall in love with a comment? no srsly, it's been perfect so far! thanks a lot
@@carlopala No problem dude
