I have a really diverse heavily planted community aquarium. Over the years I have had all varieties of red, rili, yellow and blue neocaridina. They are the best and by far my most favorite of all my many fish. Finding new babies is the absolute joy of all of my aquariums! This was such a joy to watch! Thank you for sharing!! 🥰

WOW!!! I came here because I just bought 3 Blue Velvets. After I got them out of the bag and in to my tank, I did a double check on the bag. Thank goodness I did, because I noticed a little fleck bouncing around. I thought it was just debris or poo until I noticed it was actually swimming, not swirling in the water. I realized it was the tiniest of babies and wondered how it got trapped in the net. Now I'm wondering if it hatched in the bag on my way home? It was the size of the baby in this video... only about 2mm long. SO CUTE!! I released him in my tank and haven't seen him since, obviously. That was only a week ago so he probably is still very tiny. I'm really hoping he survived and I'll find him when he's bigger.

Wow that is AWESOME! He has a really good macro lens. My shrimp colony has recently exploded! I’m new to shrimp keeping. Apparently they were getting busy in my tank. I have baby babies and older baby’s! No idea who hatched them! I’m trying to tell now if one of my blue velvets is pregnant now.

Hey Rob, cool video! Have you ever thought about doing " experiments " on different varieties of shrimp to breed new colored shrimp? Like say you set up multiple 5-10 gallon tanks and only put in 2 shrimp ( like 1 female crystal and 1 male OEBT, or any different colored shrimp ) and see what happens? I think that would be really really cool for you and Amanda to do! Like what if you made a Orange eye Crystal?

How do you get such up close clear footage? I have tried and tried with my camera (P900) with the macro setting and i still cat get that close without it blurring
is it safe and ok if your pregnant shrimp will move to other container or tank? because i have a gpair ghost shrimp and a glass catfish in one tank so that i just want to know if its safe if i remove my ghost shrimp that preggy and put it in other tank so that she will be safe and hr eggs is it that ok or not?
