Hailed as the second Swami Vivekananda, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda (1916-1993) is an orator, writer and leader par excellence, a patriot and spiritual giant, one of the finest representatives of Indian spiritual heritage who spearheaded a global Hindu spiritual and cultural renaissance that popularised the religion's esoteric scriptural texts, teaching them in English all across India and abroad.
He worked tirelessly with tremendous energy for more than four decades to spread the message of Vedanta, leaving behind a great legacy for man. He has authored 95 publications, including commentaries on the major Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. He was a visiting professor of Indian philosophy at several American and Asian universities and he conducted university lecture tours in many countries.
The sprawling worldwide, spiritual, educational, and charitable organization of Chinmaya Mission that encompasses more than 300 centres in India and internationally, carries on the bright torch lit by this great saint.

I think most of the audiences are well educated and elite. They understand English well. The speech is very important to all sections of the hindu society and should have wider reach.
Unless it is translated in to regional languages, it will not reach the wider population.
All his speeches are in English which should be translated as said above.

We have enough spiritual institutions around. We need excellent, top-quality Hindu schools. They need to be scaled out to the entire country. Weekend sessions, once a month meets and online classes are not enough. We seriously need such schools that also emphasize skill-building, vocational training and independent thinking.
Everything else is secondary.
Sir constitution don't permit propagation of Hinduism. However other faiths can do

Jai Sai Deepak is a brave intellectual giant.
He is right to say if we can't preserve the institution of family and community then what is our dharma. Unfortunately, all families are made by a few victim of Abrahamic religion and communist activists and psychologists.
They are sitting in Western universities like Harvard and Cambridge, whose family too is torn or have no family are teaching us family therapy, whose children are depressed or have no children and teaching us how to keep our children happy.
Western friends, please don't take it personally if you don't family in the above categories but do your research to find out who around you are guiding your and your friends families and children.

Hon:SaiDeepak has emphasised that Hindu Dharma is formulated around family concept and upbringing of childhood. But hindus and hindu organisations have miserably failed in educating the children on sanathan dharma. All other religious sections are primarily concentrating in educating their children. But hindus are miserably failed in this vital field. Let Chinmaya mission and such other missions concentrate on this aspect.

Om I request Sai Deepak to suggest his organizers not to use the word Sir when ever he participates. Since I cannot write direct to him . I am retired service officer for 30 years and now 82. There are many words which will be understood by most. I did this sir all my 30 years may be the reason for me not to bring that phrase his highness and sir which is used in south to a large extent. Say Bhavaan, Shreemaan etc. We have enough Indic words
I totally agree. It is best to address as Shreeman for male and Shrimati for female. It invokes God and Goddess in them when call them with this prefix. We need to remove colonial mindset. Also, there always a better greeting method instead of saying Good morning or afternoon. Jai Ramji, Radhekrishna, Har Har Mahadev.... and instead of Tank you, it is always to say Shubamastu or Shubam. When Muslim greet or thank each other they invoke their God and that is how it should be.
Speech like this is a reminder of how far behind we Hindus are from our adversaries on the matter of organisation and unification of our people to build a robust resistance for the survival of our civilization. 🙏

Dear Sai, only argument I will raise with you is those of us who have been in the US have kept the best of both worlds. Strong work ethics and deep interest in our culture and Vedanta. We are yes struggling to inculcate that in our kids and grand kids. We feel we are doing a good job in keeping our kids away from unsafe and unethical and immoral behavior.
I think most of our children are doing well because of that.

Yes it has to be a collaborated effort of all organizations to teach the true values of Sanatan Dharma not the limitations on it by those who made it unapproachable to the general people by tying it up in too many rituals.
That is what the youth is running away from.
Also studying in non Hindu schools does not make any impact on ones beliefs my generation of people from such schools are still very much into Hindu religion and believed in oneness of humanity.
