In this adventure I go on a solo campout to the Laguna Mountain Campground. I test out some new gear, cook up some amazing food and bake some fresh damper in an old Cast Aluminum Dutch Oven.
One of the best conversational videos of the nature. Thank you! I particularly enjoyed your directions so we could figure out more easily where to go and how to get there. I love my comfort when camping, but you showed us some good tips for camping and food!
Laguna mountain is beautiful.. at least 3 times a year I visit. You had an awesome set up at your campsite.. next time you go, GPS the observatory and it'll take you to the 'The Desert' Lookout.
The site I was in was about 100 feet way from your car, so you'd have to carry all your stuff to the site, kinda a bummer but the solitude its worth it. You can't really sleep in you vehicle or rooftop tent, its too far away.
