  • @diegoaristofanes5284
    @diegoaristofanes5284 Před rokem +84

    This answer is actually incomplete. The reason why that's 6 stars is that, if you give it a simple spin over a surface, without dropping it from the air, you won't solve the puzzle at first. That's a spinning puzzle designed to make you think spinning is not the answer.
    The actual solution is to put it over a surface, spin it, flip it upside-down in the north-south direction, and then spin it again. The puzzle is composed by two identical pieces, with locking pins designed to completely slide only if the piece is facing W-L up.
    When you drop the puzzle from air, it actually bounces the pins creating (not always) a zero gravity effect, that allows them to slide till the end.

      Genuine question though, how exactly does that improve the puzzle? It makes it harder, sure, but you're still just asking the person to perform a very primitive step, except without anything in the puzzle changing you're to guess you should flip it over a specific axis and do the same step again.
      To me that's bordering on anti-puzzle design.

    Sad part about puzzles is after doing a few of them they stop being a problem solving game and turns into how many previous tricks will work on this current one.

    If watching years of Mr Puzzle videos has taught me anything it's that: 1) he's not a fan of packing puzzles and 2) most importantly, spin it first then give it a knock in every orientation.

    I remember the time I solved this puzzle back when I was a 6th grader which is 18 years ago. It's actually much easier than other low ranked ones and I could guess the mechanism almost instantlly after I inspected it by tilting or slightly moving the parts.

    I bought this and solved it in the car right after lol. Took about 5 minutes to figure out the mechanism, and I knew about spinning puzzles from Chris Ramsey. Definitely not a 6 star difficulty if you already know about spin moves. But I can totally see people not figuring it out for a long time.
