For everyone saying "mArCUs, thE monEtIZaTion reQuiReMenTs HaVE chAnGEd". No, they haven't. You can "monetize" your channel at 500 subs now in some countries, but you still can't run ads on your videos. So you're still going to make $0 per 1000 views until you have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours/10 million shorts views.
There was a change for a small period. I think they lowered the watch time threshold to 3000 for a bit? I have another channel that I was able to apply to YPP even though I had under 4000 hours because the threshold changed for ~2 weeks probably.

Its not that easy to get monetized, and its too early to think on how much they pay for 1000 views

Some more data to add to your list. My RPM currently averages $9 and this is my worst time of year. It goes as high as $24 in October and November. I do product reviews and videos on current sales flyers as well as industry news in the hand and power tool markets.

Imagine two channels.
One channel records about finances and shows its face, the other does not. Both shoot very similar subjects. Both are watched by a very similar audience, real estate investors for example. The advertiser pays youtube for the audience, he wants real estate investors to see a building or house that the advertiser is selling, and youtube's job is to see where that audience is and which creator they are watching.
The advertiser doesn't care if this one shows a face and the other one doesn't, the advertiser cares if people come from youtube ads to buy those buildings and houses that the advertiser advertises.
CZcams knows this and tries to bring as many customers as possible to the advertiser, because that way the advertiser will have more money and will be able to spend even more on CZcams ads.
Now we come to the crucial part.
CZcams will reward more the creator where people click more ads and buy more. Because that creator brings money to the advertiser, and the advertiser to youtube, and that's why youtube rewards that creator to continue recording and thus everyone in that circle earns more money.
So if one creator shows a face and another doesn't, it doesn't necessarily mean that the one with a face will earn more money and have a higher RPM, maybe this one shows a face but is a boring character and seems like a fraud and people won't even believe him, nor they will spend money while watching him, while the other creator can not show his face but just be willing and instills trust and people will spend more money while watching his videos, therefore he will earn more than the former who is filming his face.
Therefore, there is no necessary connection with showing the face and earning. That's how I see it and think

Well i dont know if it directly affects rpm but a faceless channel usualy feels less personal which leads to a shorter watchtime. I recommend putting in like a little animated figure or something that way the video feels more personal even without a facecam.

I have 2 questions:
1. Is it the 8 minute mark to put multiple adverts into the video or a 10min mark since I remember it being 10min. So did they change it or was it just a mistake?
2. I see you have your content properly optimized but one thing I cant get past is a huge number of hashtags at the bottom of the description. Now I've seen many upcoming and new channels do this but never someone who are credible and actually teach you very valuable information as I've always believed its considered a very bad and spammy practice by youtube. Can you elaborate on this please?

I like your videos bacause of the info you provide and the tone and pace that's used to explain it. I've been watching some since yesterday. I find all this stuff very interesting because i recently started this channel. I converted it into a kids channel yesterday because that is what i love doing. But at first, all this talk about how little a kids channel makes, the lowest of any channels, i thought i should make a teen/young aduld series instead. But after attempting to target them, I lost my direction and fun in making it. So i did something that is the worst for my wallet, but the best for my heart and creative spirit, i converted it to a kids channel. I seriously wonder if all my time and investment in softwear and studio gear will make their return. Does anyone here has a kids youtube that wants to share some intel? Thanks a lot! X

I think my favorite ads are the ones where these con artists say they make boat loads of knee on CZcams by not uploading a single video. They are way too cringe.
On the other hand there is the V Shred ads where he pretends to advertise you weight loss stuff and it ends up being a downward spiral of clicks. Trash.

I like how the Memes channel has an RPM of "N/A". My channel is also a meme channel with very short videos and "transformative" use of copyrighted content, so I've got no chance of making even beer money. Though if I somehow manage to get monetised and make even a single $, that will be a life goal accomplished. Making people laugh is probably the main reward here, still worth the 10s of hours I spend on each video.

Rpm is so random its hard to guess what its gonna be but average view duration usally plays its part

You need 10 million shorts views in 90 days to monetise shorts. Thats a lot.
shorts are not that profitable. So to make sure CZcams still makes good money they set the monetisation threshold for shorts really high.
Remember ads dont show in shorts themselves they show in the feed.
Therefore youtube makes as much money from shorts creators that are mont monetised... as those that are.
Therefore it is better for youtube to keep shorts creators unmonetised.

1. SEO score is very low
2. No title - description - tags are SEO friendly
3. Not sharing on social media platforms and your CZcams channel is a lot of trouble.
As a result views, likes and subscribers are not increasing.
