Almond Croissants at home

Almond Croissants - the one thing that made me really happy and confident with this recipe was that my grandmother really liked it when she tried it. She said it was better than the pain au chocolat I made haha so that was something. These also have orange blossom water in them which give them a floral and sweet scent! You can switch that for almond extract or not add anything altogether.
Ingredients:
Sugar Syrup
- 250g water (1 1/4 cup)
- 150g sugar (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
Almond Cream (enough for 3 croissants)
- 50g almond flour
- 50g powdered sugar
- 50g softened butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 to 1 tsp orange blossom water

Thank you for this. When I was growing up almond croissants were my favorite treat and I haven't had one in years. No one makes them where I live now, so now I can make my own.
