- A lucky girl gets chosen from many who wrote in to "Jim'll Fix It" to meet Take That and star in thier 'Could It Be Magic' video in 1992 ... Some of the band also join Jim in the studio...
And yes, this was back in the days when you used to actually want Jim to fix it for you!! Lol! ;-) - Zábava
I remember watching this and thinking "Is that all it takes to meet Take That? I wish I'd have thought of that?!"
I was unlucky enough to meet J.S once at a charity fun run. He absolutely hated me cos I trod on his foot!!! ha ha..... I have met Howard and Mark though, they are absolutely brilliant.
I remember watching this just before Christmas 1992. I remember seeing her getting made up and thinking "so she writes in saying she wants to film a vid with TT,and Saville just arranges it for her?!"

I had no idea until about 10 minutes ago that the young woman in the overalls who turns the lights off was chosen by the 'Jim'll Fix It' people ( a sort of 'dream come true' programme) to appear in this - not a professional actress/extra she does a grand job. Jimmy Savile has been revealed as having a terrible history of abusing younger people (you can Google it). I do so hope that Sonia (the young woman in overalls) had a lovely, unblemished experience and remembers this fondly.
it's sad in a way the production staff put in all the work to make people's dreams come true. All their hard work and dedication has been ruined by the presenter. Nobody can watch this show in the same way after 2012.
I bet this is ALL just publicity and promotion for the single and that Saville had NO hand in making this happen. Come on-how many of us fans do you think wrote in pleading for him to introduce us to the boys and NEVER heard back?!

I quite enjoyed watching that video until that fucking thing appeared and spoiled it I then switched it off as I cannot stand the sight of Saville
