I’m in the uk but have worked in insurance injury claims for 25 years, the best thing for whiplash recovery is to get physiotherapy as soon as possible , hope she feels better soon xx

Thank goodness Kayla is ok. Accidents are extremely stressful as it is and with everything that happened in her accident I would be down with a migraine.

Hi, Tracy. I'm so glad that Kayla is ok with no bruises or anything else. Thank goodness!🙏. And I've seen accidents like this on the freeway. Last year in September of 2021, a car was on fire at I-94 going South between the I-696 entrance. No one got hurt, thank god. So...yeah. I'm glad that you're ok, Kayla. Glad your ok! Take the medicine as you want to stay on top of the pain. Keep us posted- hugs Kayla. I was in a five car pileup and I was the second car to get hit. I was stopped in traffic on the freeway and guy behind me hit me at least going 50 mph. I was in a full size truck and it bent my frame and I couldn’t get out. Talk about whiplash- I thought my head was going to fall off! Fast forward 20 years and I’m recovering from neck surgery as I have 2 herniated discs.

I feel you kayla. I was in a minor car accident on b12/17. I broke my little finger and my shin hurts. They totaled my car.

Her seatbelt locked when it happened. I was in a head on accident with a coal truck and the seatbelt locked up and it burned the inside of my neck and caused bruises. Hope she’s feeling better now.
Thank God Kayla♥️ is okay. Seriously, that could have been SO much worse. Tell her to take it easy. NO work. Just rest rest rest and sleep!

I agree if your body says something wrong get check out and I get where they coming from saying they prefer the urgent care over the hospital. But the thing is she should had the ambulance take her to one over the other or at least be check out in ambulance.
I hope she is feeling better, where I'm from, she would be seen within 10 minutes of arriving to the hospital.
I have witnessed so many accidents on that particular stretch of road. Please feel better. You are in my prayers. Take care, honey.

Glad Kayla is ok. She may need to see her the chiropractor . Several yrs ago I was rear ended while riding with my mother in law. That day I was fine but by the third day I could barely walk. That was before I started seeing a chiropractor. My MIL did see one at the time and had to go get adjusted.

I'm so glad you're ok kayla! I know exactly what you're feeling and was in a similar accident myself. My biggest mistake was not going to the hospital and went to a chiropractor instead and later I sued the driver that hit me and lost out on a lot of money because of that. Judges don't consider chiropractors doctors so yeah I'm suffering with herniated discs and really didn't feel much initially but remember hitting my head several times and losing my glasses also like you said! It was aweful! Please rest!
I hope you are okay. Definitely hospital to make sure you are okay. I was in a similar accident when I was in my 20's. I stopped for an accident that happened right in front of me and the 3 cars behind were not paying attention and all three cars hit me one by one.

She is feeling better but her neck is still really sore and she’s still having some headaches. ❤️
Just a heads up since you were on your way to work it can be filed under workman's comp for the personal for your wages if your out of work long enough then what's left can be filed under the car insurance. For lost wages if not out of work long enough to clam workman's comp

Surpise the air bags didnt go off. It be seatbelt whiplash, it be the shock aswell. People been doing is Slamming on the breaks for to get money out of peoples insurance, maybe he did miss his turning, you did a car cam. Its minor damage, could been alot worse, glad your ok. Glad you was wearing your seatbelt.

You do not have to hit your head to experience a concussion...I was studying for my PhD in neuropsychology before I was in an accident myself...sounds like concussion symptoms to me...She should be assessed for a concussion...she won't have pain likely for a number of hours, but after the adrenaline wears off, she's going to be hurting for a few days...I used to be a paramedic too as a volunteer and became an emergency/trauma nurse...after my first accident...make sure she's assessed...concussion symptoms can last for weeks, months, or years...I know...I have been in 2 accidents...and unfortunately women tend to be more vulnerable to lasting damage from concussion...the neck pain is typical as she likely sprained her neck...but she will need monitoring...she definitely needs checked for a concussion...

I have a severe spinal injury from a car accident 2 and a half years ago. From that I have hip problems and many more. I also had a concussion

She may need to see a chiropractor to realign her ... My daughter was in a accident and same thing was happening with her and she started to see a chiropractor which the guys auto insurance had to pay for ... So might look into that also

With a concussion she does not want to keep looking at her phone screen or a laptop it can make the dizziness and nausea worse just drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest a concussion can last a few weeks for all the symptoms to go away .

It can be a concussion. From her head bouncing around.. It happened to me and my vison was the most messed up.
My brother had concussion about two years ago and he’s playing rugby and go until 10 o’clock in the hospital he has concussion

She possibly has a concussion from this. I would take her to the er or urgent care but I would get an mri and CR scan
