Hey there! In today's vlog we had to deal with some bad weather. Tornado warnings are coming across the tv and phone leading to a scary moment for us.

I had a tornado warning at school so we did the drill... Nothing was going on! AN HOUR IN A SMALL ROOM WITH MY HUGE CLASS FOR NOTHINGGGGG?!?!

I live in New England so whenever we're getting an expected tornado, it's always a false alarm. The only time a tornado actually happened was about 8 years ago in 2011. We had a f1 in Cape Cod last month, but that's really it.

I live in northern eastern minnesota and and in that area where i live there has only been an Tornado watch and a flood watch and i survived both . .but scared for both ( because i overreact- and im 11 Rn)

I snuck my old tablet out with me one time and looked at the Radar, and the storm had the hook signature, showing rotation so i was like "oh really?"

So scary! We had a tornado touch down and tear up the neighborhood last year. We were trapped for days. scariest thing ever. So unprepared since we’re from New York and are so not used to that kinda stuff.. 3 feet of snow, Yes. Tornados, No. New subscriber🙋🏻♀️

I’m sure that was different for you guys and scary. I know when we get hurricanes, we have been with out power for weeks before and couldn’t leave our house for days because every road was covered in water. It’s the most isolating feeling ever. Thank you for subbing 💕💕💕💕💕
It was scary because in New York, tornados that actually touch down are rare.. we weren’t prepared with water or cell service or anything. And with 3 babies, it’s a little scary. Thank god i was nursing lol.

I live in Texas and we get severe thunder storms all the time. They're not any fun They tried to have my cousins graduation in a severe thunderstorm but they had to post pone it like 5x.

My dad,brother,and I was in a Ef5 tornado when I was eleven or twelve years old.we went to the bathroom and was in the bathtub with a mattress on top of us.it picked up our house and threw it 140 yards into the woods. My father was paralyzed from the waist down my brother had a broken arm and leg and had a huge gash in his arm that went to his bone and I had a fractured sternum and a blood clot behind it. My brother and I was black and blue we were all bruised and swollen and my dad had a couple of scratches. I have panic attacks during storms.
I am so very sorry. Thank you for sharing your story. I would have panic attacks too during storms, so that’s totally understandable 💕
we had a tornado warning on a game day at school. Me and my friends were helping our teacher move stuff to another classroom in the other side of the school. The announcements (they are automated messages) came in and told us about the warning. We thought the speaker was glitching until he said “this is not a drill” like 5 times. I was freaking out so much, I almost cried. We rushed to the other side of the school to the bathroom with the rest of the class. About 15 minutes in, my sister and my teachers daughter came in because they were scared. We waited for like 30 more minutes, then the teachers read us a book. When the warning had passed, it was the end of the school day so we went home lol 😂

Many years ago I was at my Aunts house out in the country. They had a Gazebo and were outside talking and drinking lemodaid. Skies were partly cloudly, just like any normal day. There was a slight breeze, it was also very muggy outside. Suddenly the wind got still and quiet, five minutes later we were in the basement as a tornado came through. It is rare, but they can appear in out a clear blue sky. We were in a Severe Thundestorm Watch before that. I would not trust a closet for anything stronger than a EF-2. But if that's all you have for cover, it's better than nothing at all. I've been a storm spotter for over 45 years.
I don’t know why but every time there’s a storm here in Lancaster Pennsylvania I say “ yeah storm season is awesome” My dad, my mom, and myself all love storms

It's so different watching families from not tornado alley, and what we do in Missouri. I am excited every time a tornado warning gets issued. I always think "And the fun begins". Lmao.
We live in tornado alley. Kids feed off our emotions and actions. The best way we could be is calm and collected. They need us to be “the calm in the storm.”
I was trying but my father was always hyper about storms and I got that from him.
It is really scary when you are planting corn or any crop and a tornado is only 90 yards away from you, all that you can do is hope you got insurance on the equipment you are using an that you survive

It was very scary. It lasted for about 30 minutes and the tornado was about to hit but thank goodness it never did! You’re so lucky that you don’t have any.

I remember a couple years ago we got a tornado warning at school. Since part of the high school was still being built, there were 3 portable buildings, one of which I was in at the time. They announced that all teachers and students in the portables must go to the physical education building. When we got there, I just pulled my journal out and starting drawing like I usually do. Meanwhile my friend is texting her mom frantically while almost in tears, the poor girl was so anxious. Everything turned out alright in the end.

Once we had a tornado warning and my parents left my brother and I alone in the bathroom while they went outside, so I was just sitting there, shaking and freaking out and my brother was just doing nothing. The tornado touched down on the other side of my street but thankfully we are safe.

Tornados are scary. Don't know if you heard about all of the tornadoes that hit Dayton OH a couple years ago on Memorial Day. One of them was literally 1 minute from our house. The damage was awful. Glad you are all safe and sound.

Never been in a tornado and Ive lived in Milwaukee County in West Allis all my life 21 yrs at the trailer house 42 yrs almost in a ranch house ! We do get the warnings watches lots of severe thunderstorms !

Omg, the weather was WACKY! That’s how it is for us too here in Texas. You never know what to expect. One time I was home alone when the tornado bell actually went off! I couldn’t get ahold of my grandmother cause she was out and left her phone at home! Scared me HALF TO DEATH!!! I’m so glad you’re okay!!!! Just imagine how I felt. It was just me and our dog!❤️❤️

there was 7 tornados that touched down in dayton ohio, good thing i live close to youngstown ohio, but we got the after math of the storm. tornado watches still went up

15 tornados touched down in the Miami Valley and 21 total on Ohio. I am grateful my house is still standing but lots of damage.

Hey Maxine Minerva the animals know if there is danger so they go to the shelter but if you haven't had this type fo THIGN happen before then you might wanna bring them with you unless you have a basement. Also most pets will follow you well not fish of course XD that would be weir but... Yeah my cats I have 4 lol when there is danger they would come down but they follow my family if there I nto much danger because they like to comfort you so they follow you. You should only be scared if your pets go running to the basement or wherever they think they are safe. Thanks for reading and no offense to you though. As long as you have a safe place in an interior area of your home, with as many walls between you and the outside as possible, you're good. An interior bathroom is a great idea to take shelter also.
Why doesn't anyone have shoes and socks on? First thing I would do is socks, shoes and closet.
I made them get shoes. It must have been off camera. We had them with us just not on when I was filming I guess ☺️

Keep a radio close or in your shelter. If the power goes out, you can still get information without using the power of your cell phones in case you need to get help. Just a suggestion.

Tornados and wacky weather is the definition of spring here in Texas, even worse in oklahoma. There where a number of times when I was really young where it was just me and my siblings at home huddled in the bathroom with the mattress waiting for the sirens to stop.
